I want to ask something that is always on my mind, while we are investigating in OSINT, will they get a notification of someone breaking into an Instagram account or something else like WhatsApp... I hope you can answer
oh sorry for the typo 'we' because I don't know what OSINT means..I'm really afraid they want to try to hack 😌 thank you for the answer ✌can i sleep well tonight😅
oh my holy f, if I see more OSINT tools using AI like perplexity (started by an ex-employee of Open AI -- so this should give you an idea what it is. There are FAR better OSINT tools for this Gary... this will only expose your privacy. I don't use AI tools that I don't host myself.
@@theGaryRuddell thanks, mate, I should have check the date, right now I am going so fast through content to see what what is up on YT (not all folks are as ethical as you). So my mistake, but thanks for taking the time to reply
@@theGaryRuddell Interesting, thanks for that, it has been a while since I used NVIDIA... interesting to know it has onboard GPT but then again since I do not focus on GPU's I am a bit outdated in that regard. So thanks, I need to set aside some time do some research and testing on various GPU's
@@theGaryRuddell hi Gary, Cisco Systems Plc .. invested internet routing. I was their London Account Manager for 2016/17 amongst many others. Taught me the majority of my network security and internet knowledge… but I am a parrot 🦜 not technical
Hope you had a good Fathers Day Gary! Another great video! 🧠The OSINT lessons definitely compliment my University program! Always good to learn some interesting and useful tips! Either it be for personal or career goals, your content definitely comes handy! Cheers Gary!
@envyjen6915 so…here’s what you do. You join the Police or the Intelligence Community. Wait for that person to commit a serious crime that requires realtime geo-location. And then you get a warrant. And then you go find them. Or, get a Court’s permission to find them.
Bro have no ide what are the things i have deen on dark web and he is sharing how to access this ..... knowing kids are watching this also.....yes there are illegal things on surface web ..but in the dark web there are very f*cked up things ther like c*** and very much...and also his replies on comment are crazy also...i thing bro have lost the brain .......
I do! I’m an OSCP holder. So I know a little bit. “Basic training” for hacking is a LOT. Go and research a course called eJPT and also a company called TCP Security 😊
Dear lord. This video must be written having in mind an audience so stupid that it would be unreasonable to presume they can reliably figure out what a computer is, let alone how to use it. And that says nothing about getting online, creating an account on RU-vid and then finding randomly a video on ransomware with a scary title such as "don't fall victim to these". For reference, investigating netwalker ransomware content is the link that flagged up this video, and obviously not educationally useful to anyone, abortion of an awareness video. Mere fraud and victimization is a set of keyword type topics too saturated for this be on the 'hey, this shit exists too' list. Computer, as in compute + r. Compute: calculate or reason. +r: nominative singular, as in a thing that computes. The comments' alleging that this is a great information source and education purveyor with (a) a personal touch like 'buddy', (b) a vague metareference to the video's content/existence and possibly (c) some emoji action to boot, are obviously all bullshit.
Question. You mentioned that the person who wanted the location to be found is from Leeds, and that's what prompted you to look in that area. That's a massive piece of info, which narrowed down the possibilities to near pinpoint precision. If you didn't have that information, how would you have proceeded?
Hey! Yes that’s HUGE. I would have asked for more intel. And this is what intel is all about: allocating time and money to collect data points and turning them into little gold nuggets. I wouldn’t have just stay on Google and scrolled until I found it. That would cost a lot in time and money. Cheaper to get more intel.
@@theGaryRuddell Thank you! This is a great video, by the way. I ask because if I put myself in your position I would've probably sabotaged myself by doing exactly what you said, scrolling endlessly through Google looking at hundreds of pictures. I do this sometimes during CTFs and I end up frustrating myself.
Thank you for making this video, I feel like you touched on some really important topics regarding cybersecurity. It’s awful the lengths people will go through for their own personal gain at the expense of others.
Catching up on the past month of content. Great video! To this day I tell/remind my friends about the Cambridge Analytica fiasco and it always leaves them in a state of disbelief and that was almost 10 years ago at this point!
Memory safety is even greater problem than Ransomware. Biggest concern to me right now is Differential Power Analysis of CPU’s (all of them even M1&M2) along with all types Side Channel Attacks, thats whats really keeps me awake at night😊
Yep! Can confirm. He did. How come he’s got so many subs on YT? Is he famous somewhere else? I’d never heard of him before the few comments people made about this music 🎵
