This is good information but there is no way someone who hasn't been to law achool can competently represent themselves at any depth. I've seen it time and time again. They don't have a basic underlying education to even properly read case law or statutes
Hi there, we agree with you! We do not condone drop offs and we always reinforce that children should be accompanied by a guardian at all times in the library. This post was made to highlight the fact that since our programs are free, parents/guardians can now save their money towards doing something that they like, and we used a “self-care day” as an example. We hope this makes sense! 😊

Thank you for the depth of information! This is a great source of guidance to locate resources for the enourmous amount of information needed to defend your rights, on your own, PRO SE. Book suggestion is also wonderful! Any guidance in NYC? How can I get a copy of your powerpoint presentation?
Interesting, since I just listened to the song Indianola by Brian Burns on youtube. If y'all haven't heard it you should listen to it. It's an incredible song. Incredible story. I own all of Brian Burns CD so I've heard it a million times and never get tired of it.
i remember when i was in about 7th grade or so hearing about the catwoman but the story was kind of vague. later, in high school it was a kind of dare to go out there and wait to hear her yowling. the story about the kids hearing her on the roof of their car was circulating then but still it never seemed like anyone knew the origin of the catwoman herself, just that she had claws and would try to chase you away. the place where you were supposed to park is behind a fence now and there's a power plant there so i don't know if kids still even tell the story or dare each other to go look for her. i had started to wonder if she was a La Llorona variation but never understood the cat connection til this story about the lady raising wild cats and strays, which makes more sense.
Absolutely SUPER helpful, even for someone searching in Georgia/South Carolina! You have helped to break down specifically what to look for. Thank you so much!
