great video, the engine whispers! yesterday I also bought myself a car, Ford A 1929 Briggs, I'm preparing it for launch, I'm looking at information from your videos, thank you!
I used to own this car. Added the 8 lug wheels and gauges. Had under 15,000 miles when I sold it to man in Texas a few years ago. Came from a dealer in NC who got it from a dealer in Chicago who got it from the estate of the lady who bought it new. Contact me if you want more history.
I used to own that exact car. Added the 8 lug wheels and gauges. Had under 15,000 miles on it. Looks like it’s had a little paint touch up on the rear quarters. New owner can contact me for some history on the car.
This one looks like a lovely, original example. I had one in the mid '70's as a post grad student, kept it for two years, one year in England, one year in Switzerland. Gave me great pleasure, although I recall it had an incessant appetite for petrol!
Very nice example, only defect I could see is an excessive height above the tires such that the entire car is sitting much too tall. The body needs to come down about two and a half inches. I know this was done for ground clearance, but it ruins the looks. The original designer penned the car to sit much lower. This higher stance also ruins handling qualities and makes the car bounce and bob on the road. Is there a way the springs could be adjusted to sit lower??
The Austin Healey 3000 was my dream car when I was a young man, to me it was the ultimate English sports car but never could afford it. I still love it!! 😍
