Why feed the bottom of the sling thru two retainers? I’d think the other retainer would be to secure the extra slack of the sling. I’m asking for understanding brother.
Regardless of the negative comments, I'm grateful for the video. I've used old-fashioned rifle swivels all of my life. I was unaware this change had been made. I thought the swivel might be malfunctioning or that I was doing something wrong. Turns out I was a bit confused. I was able to get the gist just from the explanation, though. For others who might still be struggling, what he's saying is: Unscrew or unwind the knob. Picture winding an old-fashioned watch but in reverse. Unwind the knob until it moves all the way out and comes to a full stop. Then push in on the knob. The other side will move away from the fixed post so that it can be rotated out of position. On mine, the top post is fixed. It rotates at the bottom near the webbing and detaches from the top part of the swivel. Afterward, put the fixed post through the swivel mount hole, then rotate everything back into position and close it. Last, screw or wind the knob back in, forward, just like you would wind a watch until it free spins. I hope this helps. Thank you for the video. It did help me.
I've got two of these mlok rails that I can't attach to the weapon. I can't get the tnut turned 90 degrees. It's like the screws aren't long enough to allow the nuts to turn. If these things were sold with longer screws, it would work. They say mlok is standardized but it is obviously not.
Will the rail adapters only fit the side of Mlok? I want to use a rail on the bottom and use a vertical grip that way like a 1913 rail will that work with the Magpul rail section?

Ok that worked for the one side but the other side just keeps spinning around and coming out of the slot despite pulling up on the rail as hard as I can. Frustrating! I’ll keep trying though.
I'm interested in this accoutrement, it looks awesome. However, my concern is its use with a forward vertical grip? How does the wrap accomodate the use of such a part? You guys make some products, and I am happy to support the US made outfit. Have many of ya'lls QD sling swivels, and thread in QD cups, among other items.
The sleeve is free spinning, simply pull upwards so there is slight force on the spinning sleeve and unscrew it out. Once unscrewed press down on the sleeve to push out the pin and rotate the lock open 90 degrees. Put the pin through the hole on the screw stud and reverse to close and lock the swivel.
Yeah.... I did this and while it was tight and not able to move forward or backwards along. It could wiggle side to side like crazy, and now I am.unablento even get the thing un screwed to see if it was user error or if something was wrong with a part.

Technically you could do that, but we don't recommend it. I would suggest using a lighter or a torch to burn the cut edges very lightly. The bottom has mounting holes already.
What material is the wrap made of? I already purchased one but I can't find any specs for it on your website or otherwise. I put it on an AR-10 close to the chamber and I don't want it to melt.
