I’m in Alaska where it’s legal to snag in saltwater where they have a special sockeye salmon hatchery just so these fish can grown and be snagged

Accidental catch and it was quickly released

@fishinwithcharles lol... I've been fishing in Wa state my entire life, and I had no idea that a catch not in the mouth or on the head is an illegal catch. I invented a new lure, so I checked up the legalities of my invention and I'm in the clear. I was jk btw, I don't know where you're fishing at. Happy trails Hons!

12 burb today on hooked on Alaska glow tube and blue and red head! I caught 1 21 inch laker, I got 2 more days of fishing up here planning on catching a hog

Hoping for a good laker to swim by and smash my jig

Landlock chinook salmon meaning it never will go live in the ocean and stays in lakes also called Kokanee

I did know that salmon could stay in freshwater

I only catch and release these as they are wild fish not many left

They kill everything in our lakes up here in Alaska they want us to kill as many as you can! Catch and release is not allowed
