Yes, I agree you should get at least two cats at a time, but be careful. The easiest is if both cats are litter-mates, or have been raised together. If that isn’t possible, cats will usually accept each other if they are introduced when they are quite young. If you are trying to get a friend for your present cat, it helps if the new cat is the opposite sex, and a bit younger. (And PLEASE get them both spayed or neutered.)
I literally just went through this. Introduces an 8 week old male to my Saeko "Cakes" a 9 year old rather large female. Both Tabby cats. Today is day 5 and they are playing a bit but will sleep together. In another week gonna be great pals. Once I see Cakes clean the kitten I know it's all over. Anyway beautiful cats.
Wait a male cat… And a female cat… Title says when cat loves a rescued kitten… So, suggests coming from completely different combo of cats- not related. Probably gets along and likes the kitten mostly cause it’s female and he’s thinking of his male urges- less he’s fixed.
I absolutely LOVE seeing your beautiful family of kitties each and everyday. All of the kitties- Yuni, Soni, dear sweet Haru, Bami & Dami are WONDERFUL.❤️❤️🥰🥰🐈⬛🐈 Thanks so much for posting. 🐈🐈⬛👍👍
One of my kittens peed and pooped on me once. I woke up to the feeling of warm urine spreading across my chest, and when I reached down, I stuck my hand in poop, and all he did was sit there meowing at me. 🤦♂️
My kitten goes ballistic and flips all over the bed and bites us and tries to play with anything that moves while we sleep. I find new scratches on me constantly that could have inky happened while I'm sleeping. She's insane. Sometimes she is very sweet, other times she is a tiny raptor trying to eat us.
i adopted a kitten after he followed me while i was doing my runs, its been 30 days now and like just now my 3 year old cat and my 6 year old cat have warmed up a little to the point of no hissing, trust the process people!

I remember my siblings and I had an adult female ginger cat. We then got a tuxedo kitten and we were determined to make them get along. Well, it took some time. The older cat was very jealous of the kitten, often growling when it got too close. But, she never tried to attack the kitten. My siblings and I put them in a box together and monitored their behaviour. We did this a few times, fed them their food together and eventually, the adult cat stopped growling at the kitten and their relationship got better. The kitten began to see the older cat as his mom because he started suckling from her. Well, life happened and we had to give them away. It's been years.
