I'm just another youtuber in their 20's (late 20's) who enjoys manga, anime, K-pop & video games. So you can expect reviews, hauls, collections and many lists (only a little bias)

Subscribed. Wow! BGYO has nice songs and good dancers. Thank you very much for the reaction vid. Please react to their other MV such as Magnet, The Baddest and When I'm With You. Thank you
Hi, thanks for the reaction. For some context, there were controversies since their formation, due to their original background. They are not 'prepared' idols, but started as a project group of twitch streamers, a tiktoker and a former idol. Moreover, QWER is a "rock band", but the bassist and the guitarist just started learning their instruments as they formed the group. Many people, even some of their streamer fans, had doubts about their debut. There were many harsh comments on them on the internet. The members worked really hard to prove that they are serious about the group, and I think they proved themselves a lot. Songs like "Discord" and "Fake Idol" contain their thoughts on these controversies. About the song, "My name is Malgeum(Sunny)" is a song about a one-sided love that didn't go well. The protagonist was hiding her feelings, but accidentally spilt it out, and was rejected. The protagonist is in deep sadness, but tries her best to hide it and acts to be "sunny". While MV can have many interpretations, I think its main topic is about sadness, and how the person tries to overcome or accept it. I hope this comment was not too long. Thank you :)
Good day, Please react to BGYO newest song titled 'Trash'. The Music Video and Performance Video are super nice. They rising Pop Boy group. Thank you so much
Hi you can watch the girl's reaction to the MV ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DCJZ-qBWkb4.html ). In that video they mentioned that the video do not have a exact explanation to the story. It's open ended where anybody can have any interpretation of the story. So for the "controversy". They are formed by a Korean fitness youtuber and the girls do not have any proper Idol training like regular Kpop idol does in the mainstream entertainment company, with some of them only picking up the instrument upon being recruited to the group. They are able to get on relatively big stages upon debuting due to their backing and connections. In the kpop industry, idols suppose to be the perfect human being, clean image etc. Chodan and Magenta being streamers is something people frown upon. People also do not like them getting attention and success upon their debut due to their existing fanbase with Chodan and Magenta having hundreds of thousands of subscribers on their individual youtube channel and twitch, and Hina being a 4 million subscriber Tiktoker, Siyeon being a ex Japan Idol. Some people also got so hung up on a comment Chodan made 7 to 8 years ago framing her of being an anti feminist while refusing to find out what really happened and context of her remarks. So as a fan of them, I will suggest you come to your own conclusion base on what you watched and their music.
i wouldn't call them controversy group, for me they're just different and unique, imagine if a group that doesn't fit people standard, in this case is in kpop standard, but the group still gaining the fame, ofc this will bother some kpop enthusiasts. If you look up their background, who's people behind them, what company managing them, what concept are they using, might be surprised and i think you gonna love them more. QWER is a proof that a group don't need to follow the standard/flow and still can be a successful group.
I agree with you completely, they are not controversial at all! but there are people out there complaining about their formation and try to make them controversial is exactly because their don't fit the mould of how a usual Kpop group should be. They debut when they do not have perfect mastery of their instruments, they gain certain level of success due to their prior work which is being streamers, tiktoker and former japanese idol. Alot of these "haters" or "enthusiasts" are hypocrites because they dont like how QWER started with a good career kick off due to each member's background and existing fanbase, yet they are completely supportive of groups debut from major companies and gain instant success. I'm a fan because they are imperfect. We are able to see them improve with every comeback and every performance. The exact reason I become a fan is because we feel that we are part of a journey with them slowly improving and achieving each and every of their goals.
Yeah this group has absolutely burrowed itself into my head and heart. Catchy tunes for sure (check Earth Wind & Fire). Jaehyun is an amazing presence. As the leader of BoyNextDoor, he has joined forces with Hanbin (leader of ZEROBASEONE) and SoHee (incredible singer of RIIZE) to MC M Countdown, and they are beyond entertaining. Everyone in KPop seems to be crushing on Jaehyun.
