For something like this, scratch building is way better looking. Same goes for terrain. For Sci-fi buildings where uniformity is a positive, I like the GW kits, though.
Haha I know the struggle is reeeeeal! I actually got this stuff from a mate who works in a supply depot and picked it up from some shelving packaging. Was a pretty sweet score!
The end result shows the flaws with battle companies. One team can start steam rolling very fast. My campaign I was Isengard, friend was Minis Tirith. First game he had a hero die, hero captured, troop injured. So next game he only had 3 troops vs my 7 uruk scouts with F4 S4. Towards the end of the campaign were we stopped playing I had 3 beserkers backed up by pikes, it made the battles very one sided.
Beautiful piece of terrain, and very smartly engineered. I like that you don't just half-ass everything in order to squeeze out a video every week. Your builds are never boring and there are always great tips and techniques.
