Even when we break one (or more) of The Ten Commandments, we can always seek FORGIVENESS and then we wipe the slate clean and start over. We don't have to "trash others" and leave them behind in the dust for breaking one of God's commandments. Breaking one of the commandments does not make a person less than others; it makes us all human. We have ALL broken God's commandments at some time!! I started off life breaking the third commandment, "Thou shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain." My grandmother told me that I began talking early and that my first words were "God damn." (At least my first word was "God.") I was copying my grandfather who used that phrase anytime he dropped something or became frustrated. It was the first commandment I broke and I have also broken others, but not all of them. We all make our own choices based on individual morals, character traits, etc. and it keeps us from becoming SHEEP. Those rules about freedom of choice are also God's rules for living. I don't give a flip what anyone thinks about my choices in my life. I'm going to do the right thing and make choices that I can live with for the highest good of myself and others. Thank GOD that we are not all SHEEP.
