I have a usb port in my 2011 escalade in center console. I bought a 15$ usb Bluetooth adapter works perfect. I want to add what u did to have miracast.
Definitely interested in some of these simple things you have going on. They're very nice and fit the truck. Well, and should have came that way. Any information or input would be greatly appreciated if you have the time.
I just found ur information on RU-vid and I tryed the link for the radio and no go the one for Amazon does work please hote back looking to customizey truck asap
My question is with the after market screen is can my kids watch something different in the back with factory screen while I watch or have something different in the front ??? I know they want Netflix in the back while I have music or Hulu upfront?
Can anyone tell me how to remove old phones, when using the voice command it says no tags assigned, so there is 5 phones with no tag assigned to them? When trying to add it says 5 phone max reached, 2014 ESV. Would think that a 14 this would be easy, it is on almost any vehicle
Hey how did you get that samsung install and how does it hold let us know its cool i want to do that to mines also with a old phone or a samsung let us know
You mentioned you do towing. I put Hummer H2 bags on my Escalade back in November. Best thing I ever did. What a smooth ride. ZERO air leaks through this brutal MN winter. Truck stayed up in the air the entire time. (H2 and Escalade are the same Chassis so the air springs twist-lock in at the top of the frame) No cutting, screwing, drilling, welding nothing. Both bags share the same line with a T fitting and out to the bumper for now. Once it gets warmer I will install a 5 gallon air tank, with a 480 Viar compressor. Switches up front for up and down using (normally closed) solenoid valves. (Maybe try to make the 3 garage door opener buttons be the (ON/OFF) for air compressor | (UP) | (DOWN) for the other two buttons? We will see if its possible. I also will do a manual dump valve at the bumper for when i'm dropping trailers. I will already be back there detaching chain and lights etc so, id like to just boom, drop the truck and drive forward instead of crank on trailer jacks all the time. Also, nice thing about onboard air is Impacts for tire changes and I might get one of those Air Bag jacks and make life easier. I digress: I purchase 90% of this off amazon for under $200.00 (Bags and Lines & Fittings) Home Depot for a Schrader valve $10.00 Menards for an air manifold $5.00 SMOOTHEST ride I would recommend to everyone with an escalade for real. Another guy in the group just did his yesterday. I towed a trailer from Mn to Chicago twice floating the entire time like a Coach/Prevost bus. Also, one would think having both bags share the same line that the sway during cornering would be worse but it actually isn't. The front and rear swaybars help with the majority of that. I actually like both the bags sharing the same air because the axles actually equalize out going in and out of parking lots / gas station inclines. It's smooth instead of aggressive. You hardly feel the rear its super dope.
Thinking of doing the same radio upgrade in 14 Platinum. Have you done the Android 10 version uet? If so, does it come with a fix for the steering wheel volume control issue that affects the factory amp? Great vid.🍻
Just purchased & received my 2012 EXT and ordering the 13.4 android 11 now. You inspired me to finish my mod development scheme. I already love the truck but OMG!!! I got goosebumps looking at this vid, subscribing and searching for your other vids now! Thanks for sharing 👍 😊
Bro! 6 years later, and everyone is still wanting to know how you did all of this, and where you got all of these items. Please, for the love of all things Escalade, be our hero and help us out! Hahaha!!
These upgrades are ridiculous! I mean that in a good way. I have a Tesla style screen like you have but you’ve blown my mind (pause) on all the mods you’ve done. I thought I did some solid mods but it’s Mickey Mouse compared to yours. Sheesh! I can’t even comprehend the things you’ve done. I’m blown away.
The Phoenix has a new really good looking one out with fast boot Apple carplay Android auto etc. I like it because it lets you control all your climate stuff on the tablet as well. I'm like you I have a 2007 EXT with 150,000 Miles and I've decided to keep it. The features that came on these trucks were so far ahead of their time. I've already stripped out factory carpet and sound deadening and did three layers of a dynamat type sound deadening followed by a foam layer and brand new carpets and floor mats. I also redid the leather seats. I went with a company called roadwire, and to be honest their leather seat replacements are nicer than the ones that came factory. You can also have custom stitching done and all other kind of custom add-ons. I'm in the process of redoing all the door seals, window seals, Chrome accents on the outside of the vehicle, and I'm going to have it completely repainted. I'm going to put the newer Escalade front end on it as well. Haven't decided if it's going to be the 15 to 2020 for the brand new one. I think to be honest I like the 15 to 20 style. I'm going redo the a pillars and the headliner with suede or alcantara and put the starlights in them. Also adding extra sound deadening to the roof as I did the three layers on the floor and in the doors. Really makes the biggest difference in how quiet it is inside the car and I know it will get even better with new window seals and door seals. I just decided that this truck with the magnetic suspension and how good it rides and the options it has with heated steering wheel heated in cool seats ect. I'm going to spend 40 to 60 Grand to get something close to this nice. It's been paid off for a very long time so I have no problem putting 10 to 15 grand into it. I want to add push to start and a proximity fob. As well as Auto dimming headlights. As I spoke of at the beginning of this post that has turned out way longer than I intended (I apologize). Do you know of a way that I could just use a regular Android tablet and use some kind of interface instead of using the Phoenix in dash? I have a 7-in tablet mounted above my Kenwood 9903s at the moment using the maestro RR connected into the obd. Just didn't know if there was anything out there where I could just use a Samsung tablet and be able to control the climate control on the touch screen like they do on the new Phoenix one. I have morel elate three ways in the front door 9-in mid base drivers and making pods for a 4-in mid-range and then the Tweeter on the a pillars. JL audio 600/6 on each door bridged so each component speaker receives 200watts.... So 600 w atts RMS on each front door Then custom built a box that sits in the bed with a w7 but then fires into the cab. Where the cut through access is. I love your heads up display and the other things you have done. I was about to replace all my interior panels but I love your idea of wrapping them. I know this is an older post but if you see this and it's not too much to read I would love to hear some of your thoughts. Great job man good content
@@TheSeanGTVsorry for late reply. I haven't gotten around to it. Hoping to here in the next month or two. Doing full suspension first😢🙄... Z55 Auto ride 👎 not cheap... And I paid for a Cadillac ride....I'm not doing the "delete" deal ...wish I had the the z95 magnetic system....much cheaper
