Wow! Deep podcast and what I appreciate about you (3), is the ability to frame the problems into human terms. As an entrepreneur I could completely relate with your subject matter and it struck this cord….after almost 30 years of being an entrepreneur, do I feel a betrayal from God for not providing financially after all the hard work and multitasking of wearing so many hats. I’m not sure if pastors feel that but the complex layers of defining provision has been the most difficult challenge for me. Especially in the way that entrepreneurs may not feel like they can take the necessary break..lots to think about! I need to process this - so thank you! I will also be praying for pastors for safe places to rest and heal.
May I recommend an adjustment to your interpretation. It is not than man is unstable (because God made everything good) but that without the woman, Adam could not fill the earth with image bearers on his own. The only part of creation that could not reproduce was man. The woman was given to fulfill the mission of making the earth a place filled with image bearers so God would see Himself in our creation and we would have maximum joy in our great Creator. No other interpretation is needed not makes sense. God was intent on spreading His fame.
I want to say how valuable the work you’re doing is. I’m 76 and my oldest is now 50. I remember feelings of loneliness, isolation, depression, overwhelm…and all the while thinking I shouldn’t be feeling all these things as a new believer. It was worse in the ministry years because there was no one to talk to. Journaling with Jesus was my salvation, yet I certainly could have used an ear, a sounding board, a sincere listener who didn’t minimize, spiritualized, or give me empty platitudes. People did not know where to put emotions then, and so I struggled alone in the darkness. Kudos to you for bringing this out into the light.
Listen to Robert Breaker a really good Pastor with a board he uses to explain everything he teaches. There is no mistake about what Scripture says. Listen because he reads God signs in the Star's. Very timely to watch this on the morning I watched the Christmas Eve message of Pastor Munther Isaac in Bethlehem. I sat feeling shame that we have not responded to their desperate position in a powerful and Christ-like way. May we rise up, lament sincerely our shortcomings - feel the pain - and determine to speak out on their behalf from now on. Lord bless this podcast. May the Spirit increase the reach and depth of the work achieved in it.

It was a good conversation but I was hoping you’d offer both perspectives in detail. I worry about unity in the church when a whole perspective isn’t shared.
The slide at 3:04 has mislabelled the country New Zeland as Malaysia. The info under NZ and Taiwan are the same. Unclear what the proper stats are and a disappointing mix up of otherwise really interesting data.
This is not meant to condemn but to bring thought to Christians on how we not only speak about biblical principles but live them. How do we spend our dollars that support God's word. I loved Disney growing up. Today's Disney is not what it was. Personally I can no longer patronize my money to corporations that put harmful views out to children. It breaks my heart that the beauty and innocence of childhood imagination has been corrupted. I cannot compartmentalize during my Biblical walk of prayer and devotion and then put blinders on when I walk through the secular world. I pray that my personal convictions will inspire you to search your own heart and reflect on areas that may help you to serve God better.

I dont think people die from poverty I think people die because of alcoholism and cigaretter talking on a Mondial plan. We have enough good leadership to help improve the health ...the education and not lead us to poverty.... What are the correlations with SDG?
