I remember watching this live on TV, when I was 8 years old. It was a sad weekend. Barrichello's crash, Ratzenberger's crash and then Senna's crash. So many bad things happened on this weekend. This footage right here is a piece of history. R.I.P Ratzenberger and Senna!

I went to the British GP in 94 & 95. Sad not to see Ayrton of course and not forgetting Roland. But... 94 was imo, the last year that the cars truly sounded and looked great. 95 they'd lost half a litre & genuinely sounded quieter. Also a more care-free period - no pit lane limiter 😉 (or at least up to Imola 94). I miss this period tbh.

The chunk of debris flying into the crowd could've easily added another tragedy to this already dark weekend. Lots of lucky fans escaping harm, unfortunately for Senna and Ratzenberger, not so much. RIP.
