Ironically Standard were making an every person skate and in reality all I hear is complaints. Bit of a shame, really rooting for Law and the brand, hope they can make the skate work better for everyone
I ve been fucking a lot with different insoles. I use Roces 5th element insoles in my SL’s, love them. The feeling they provide is super sexy soft and they make skates roll faster.
Cheeky Street Meets clip, that’s what I’m talking about Kordel! 🙏 My wife has the thin flat FP footbed and she also said it’s also very dependant on your foot warming up the footbed to get it going
Super fun was able yo do fakie 5 both ways first try so at least for jumping i like the skate a lot also i csn topside in it with much added confidence
Man I’m triip in or something bro u just did the same trick?? But leaned your knees to the opposite side.. But it was super smooth” and satisfying to watch🤘🏾 like carving butter with a razor blade
Yeah that was a marketing lie theres no point in trying to skate this frame flat not when so many other better frame options are out there. Could you yes but like i say it wouldn’t be worth it.
@@kordel_alcorn_white got ya was suggesting it because it could be a piece of content, you know yay or nay on skating it flat aye lol 😆 i personally was looking for that content also and Ricardo is the only one who's gave it a whirl and he said it's ok.
@@icemanbtlr25 i feel you and true and after watching Ricardo’s thoughts on it i honestly didn’t think id be able to add much. And ive tried other frames with similar h blocks like the creates flat and it was just such a miserable experience i didn’t even want to bother lol. Ricardo is also like freakishly talented and though he was able to make it work i honestly believe the average skater would have a bad time skating it flat especially newer people who didn’t grow up skating flat in the 90s. And i think roces should have never marketed it from flat.. imo its just a pretty good anti frame
Naw this groove is so much like create or fluid 4s thats skating flat would be a waste of time imho. Its a pretty antirocker specific design. The only Flat frames id even look at are oysi, gc flt4, kizer fluid5, tnec and iqons new one. And maybe if i was desperate a kaltic frame. Also if you want to skate flat aeons are a good option but that skate slide’s horribly
@@kordel_alcorn_white im on creates flat at the mo after coming from aeons. I just really like the short frame length. I might give the fluid 5 a go as I think they are 245mm.
Thanks for doing a mod vid. I completely agree with supporting new skater owned company’s and that’s why I got mine. I have the 6th toe pressure and the ankle pressure point. (Also wide feet) I’ve been time poor and only tried heat molding as per website and didn’t have great results. Swapped liners also. But haven’t started cutting or shaping the skate yet. Anyway I have time to try and fix the issues now, my plan was to be more aggressive with the heat and try and get the inner cuff more circular, and I definitely need to push the toe box out. I do wonder if an intuition insole (4mm one)would raise my foot up past the boot curve and get it to the wider part of the skate. My current/previous skate is a sway and i have plenty of room in that. Any way you’ve given me hope Cheers
That is so awesome! I might try it. I learned on K2 fatties back in the day with royales 90 degrees to the grind surface. I've been trying to learn the angled 45-55 degree mj12 royales due to the offset backslide plate and H block but sometimes I screw it up. Also I find it harder to stay on top of on ledges (maybe it is mental). I slapped my face on the ledge today when my front foot slipped off hahaha.
Wow look everyone a looser who’s trying to hate on me to get reactions and more views 😂 im not a beginner… Am i a pro no but i have A lot of value and information to offer. it you don’t Like it just keep moving and watch something else your channel isn’t anything special either lol plus i guarantee i can beat you in skate. So why don’t you quit making content and practice what you preach ? old head grom
@@kordel_alcorn_white I’m not a looser ! I have tracheas unmatched levels ! Am the chosen ! But all these beginners make videos make me sick. Hey look everybody you all are unworthy low lives .
Lmao and you want to play me a game of blade? Dude you are a grommet and if you wish to play me it will cost you 10000dollars per game! Now as I said you are not worthy of making content so just stop.
What’s your height and weight? I am 5ft8 and I took myself from 240lb (ripped) to 190lb (ripped) so I could skate how I used to skate as a teen. I respect the fact that you’ve got some weight behind you. Yet you’re still ripping!
A man that can fook himself up on all disciplines of extreme sports 🤣 I can respect this as a guy that broke his spine ski jumping in five places back in 2011. Today? Today I look for various handrails to skate. Never grow up 😅I enjoyed this brother! Have a follow from me!
The TNEC 58 is going to be my next skate...I fucking love the idea...Soulframe made super cheap with the bare bones... Reminds me of the 90s super awesome. Also I can't buy products from a guy that skates with a helmet and a suit of plastic armor. The logic is simple. I would rather watch someone do a royal on a knee high rail without protection then watch someone do a backflip dressed like a plastic blimp. Protection is for pussies...And FYI - Learning tricks in a rubber pit or tricks on a rubber ramp is for pussies
There is nothing wrong skating with protective gear or using resis and pits to learn new tricks safely 😂 who are you to tell someone how to enjoy or learn an activity
@@MMMORPGPVPPLAYER pshh grow up dude you sound like the most insecure, biggest looser ever let people skate however they see fit thats the point is to have fun and not take it too seriously. Everything you’ve said is wack which is why you have this lame faceless burn account cuz you don’t have the balls to say publicly and you probs don’t even know how to skate at all 😂 you jaded old head worthless arm chair 1/4 back
Fantastic review. You‘re the first one ever to bring up the weight factor. I‘m 250 lbs and I have the same problem, as a beginner I wondered how all others grind / slide so long until I understood that the weight is the factor. Thx for that and for your in depth comparison / review. Love it ! 👍🏻🤙🏻
Sixth toe sounds much better then "bunionette" - I've modified the hell out of the skate but I did notice pressure point on the sixth toe area - I have a heat gun so maybe ill press that one out
Just got the tnec skate, have had the Omni since it landed in the us. Definitely loving the tnec more over the standard. The Omni is a bit big for my foot
@dp9738 i am around 274 ish and fairly wide like 101 i think my prefered other skates are roces 5th elements size 9 and razors sl size nine or a them smedium
I had great hopes that the Omnis would be a good fit. Sadly I would have to tinker around with heat molding and so on as well because of ankle pain. I don't have the patience and time to do that. So I'll sell them sooner or later.
