Pride rampage was something else. Chuck was my guy but this man handled him in chucks prime. I still remember i had illegal cable in 07. Me, my ex and my first baby's house. Thught chuck would avenge. I was heartbroke when he proved me wrong. Hes one of my favorites behind Anderson and cain
One of the greatest to ever do it. A lot of people don’t mention him amongst the greats because by the time he got to the UFC he had taken a lot of damage and was not the same fighter he was before, but for a long time in Pride he was the greatest middleweight (205 lbs) in the world. From 2000-2006 he was undefeated, and to this day has some of the most vicious knockouts in the sport. I read a story that he and Shogun fought at Chute Box over who would get to keep a puppy, and Wanderlei knocked him out cold. One of the few fighters whose nickname is 100% appropriate. Fought everybody Pride had to offer except Fedor.
This video is 17 years old or something? If he knew what people know about CTE today, I'm pretty sure he would prefer head gear in training after all... :)
5:45 lies lol that tastes like balls. Team punishment baby Tito is the man . Zent me a huge autographed poster and flame shorts . Guy is generous and real nice and yhe people's champ!
Lol you heard of EPO one time and you think you know what it is lol. There are countless heavyweights in every combat sport that have fought into their 40's. They aren't you low t little bro.
Man this damn sad 😂😂 that little boy playing mini golf all innocent here and then years later on Brendan Shaub podcast talking about eating some fat white bitch ass spread eagle 😂😂😂😂
@@ItsameAlex It would be a great stylistic matchup. Sherk's conditioning and wrestling could give Conor problems. Conor would look to keep it standing and look for the knockout with his superior striking
Crazy that xience went under with all the promotion UFC put behind it. I loved their energy drinks . Can't find them anywhere now. Or their supplements. Crazy how much the sport evolved as well. All my favorite fighters from back in the day would get absolutely killed by today's fighters .
This was a really good show. I liked seeing how some of the stars behaved back then, i could always tell Andre was a class act though, he was one of my first favorite fighters.
Rich is the man but this training now looks so ancient, he goes as hard as anyone but without real sparring, well we seen the difference when he fought Anderson a guy who sparred all the time, he destroyed Rich in both fights because as good as Rich was he hated getting hit.
