Welcome to the official Lane Shark USA RU-vid channel.
Our main goal here on RU-vid is to educate our existing and potential customers on our tractor mounted brush cutters. The LS3, LS4, and the soon to be released HH4 (Hammerhead) are our main products. They fit on almost any tractor make and model within the sub compact to medium sized tractor range.
Use the "Find Your Fit" Tool on our website to see if your tractor is compatible: lanesharkusa.com/products
We also like to interview industry personnel, from Tractor Dealership Salesmen/owners, folks from the Lane Shark family, to entrepreneurs on our podcast Lanesharkin' with Travis.

Hey, thanks for your question. A unit similar to this one specifically made for a Skid Steer is in the works! However development is still in the early phases, so no release date as of yet. Keep following along with us though to be sure you see when we release info!
Thank you for your question! You can definitely articulate the machine while cutting. You'll notice a slight decrease in the speed of the blades while it is changing positions because some of the fluid to the machine will be diverted to the hydraulic rams, but you won't see a decrease in cutting performance. We hope this helps!
That's right! Every Hammerhead will come with hose guard on the hoses from the valve body and the whips. We also sell the hose guard wrap separately in bundles of 10 feet: shop.lanesharkusa.com/products/hydraulic-hose-guard-wrap
Find your recommended plumbing kit based on your current hydraulic setup by entering your tractor information into our configurator: shop.lanesharkusa.com/ If you order a WR Long C-Flow kit or C-Flow 3rd function kit specifically for a Hammerhead, it won't come with whips or a Lane Shark switch handle/Lane Shark switch box! Your Hammerhead will come with the whips and the Hammerhead Switch Box to control the positions and constant flow to the motor.
Going off of overthinking the many decisions you have to make as a business owner, what is something you put a lot of time into in the beginning of your journey to build your business that you learned in the long run wasn’t worth it?
Saying yes to everything and trying to please everyone is a quick way to burn yourself out and lose your edge. It may feel necessary in the beginning because you want every opportunity to be successful, but finding your niche and core audience or customer base is way more important in the long run
Hey Fred! Thanks for the question. Honestly doing door to door direct mail felt like a more daunting task when we first got started, and we as individuals generally throw away "junk mail" or marketing mail so we just felt like it wasn't going to be as effective. We felt like using social media as a platform to spread awareness would help drive the customer to their dealership, which would increase demand. I hope that was helpful!
I’ve gotten so much great information on how to better market myself, this has been super valuable. What are the biggest words of wisdom each of you can share for aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs?
Hey! Thanks for your question. These grapples are best run on tractors with around 45hp. At 45hp they can lift up to 2800lbs with this grapple. Wouldn't go lower than 20hp or you wont be able to lift much more than the grapple itself. Let us know if you have anymore questions and our team will get you taken care of!
It's compatible with pretty much any attachment system, including all John Deere styles and skid steer quick attach. We just have to get that information from you when you purchase. A member of our team will reach out and request your attachment system and let WR Long know once we push your order through. Thanks for the question!
The weight capacity depends on the horsepower of your tractor. Ideally these Gladiator grapples are made for 45hp tractors, which have an upper limit of about 2,500 - 2,800 pounds.
@@LaneSharkUSA where can i get one? I'd use this thing all the time around my property to clean up fence lines. Exciting that ya'll are branching out to other implements
@@nickphoenix8867 We sell them directly on our website. If you order through us you get the custom Lane Shark branding on the sides! shop.lanesharkusa.com/products/gladiator-grapple
Hey there! Thanks for the question. These grapples are only for tractors, not skid steers. Here's more about the gladiator: shop.lanesharkusa.com/products/gladiator-grapple
Thanks for the vid. Did laneshark purchase trailblazer? I purchased a trailblazer and power pack 4 yrs ago..then trailblazer disappeared. I heard laneshark bought trailblazer. Thanks for any info. Wish I had bought laneshark..you all are still around.🙃🎄🙃👨🌾🚜👨🌾
How does the rubber flap perform as far as stopping stuff from flying out the back vs the LS2 with a steel back. The thicker deck and some of the other features are really nice
It works just as well as the metal backing. The rubber is very sturdy. The main reason for this though is when you are in the home or offset position, giving the unit a bit more give when driving over stumps or other obstructions on the ground.
Sorry for the late response! Is the full model number Case JX1075C? If so, it is compatible with our LS4 with the High Capacity Motor, as well as our upcoming product the Hammerhead, which is our fully hydraulically controlled unit. Our website has the Find Your Fit tool to help you determine everything you need to run the Lane Shark with your tractor if it is compatible. lanesharkusa.com/
Your hydraulic overview near the end of the video helped me to correct a basic plumbing mistake by installing dealer, the output hoses from the solenoid block to the LaneShark and the third function were reversed. Your clear explanation of in/out made it immediately obvious and also explains why the previous owner also couldn’t use the grapple.
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing. We want these installs to be as easy as possible for customers, so we are glad this video was helpful in correcting the issues you were having. Thank you again for the support!
