Tim, I first saw you at the end of the 1980's. I had just gotten home from serving in the Navy, watching cable TV, and there you were, "Men Are Pigs" and I instantly loved your routine, I instantly loved you! When Seinfeld (who's humor is a little too dry for me) got his own TV sit-com I was like, "Really?" never watched his show, never cared to, and all the time I said, "Tim needs his own show!" Finally, someone must have heard me, because the next thing I know, you have your own show, "Home Improvement"! I said, "Now you're talking!" grunting like a pig all the way! I never missed an episode, and when it all came to an end, I cried... but caught all your movies! Wild Hogs was one of my favorites!
Fun Fact: Tim's co-star Elizabeth Mitchell said in 2011 at WonderCon fan convention that Tim had asked her to star alongside him in Last Man Standing. He even sent her the pilot script to play his wife. But due to her schedule, she wasn't available at the time. It's amazing that Tim thought of Elizabeth first to play his wife in Last Man Standing. Those two working together again has been a long time coming. Elizabeth is truly the best actress in Hollywood and i believe she would've been the right choice for the role. She would've made Vanessa's character completely different from average female sitcom characters. Elizabeth's bubbly and giggly personality and her exceptional talent to play such complex traits would've been a huge asset for a sitcom character. Tim Allen and Elizabeth Mitchell playing a sitcom married couple, the biggest missed opportunity in television.
What if aliens were heading here to give us the secrets to immortality and all the wisdom of the universe and then they intercepted the grunt and changed their minds. Maybe one day they will return and ask to speak with the one we humans call “the tool man”
Most boring car build ever. It will be at Barrett-jackson a month after it's finished, if it ever gets finished. What a waste of time and money. It shows Timmy is clueless.
Obviously some people think Bodie is working in 6 minute intervals. We have no idea when these videos are recorded. This could have been months ago. Besides, it’s “fabrication”, not just parts bin bolt ons. People in to cars go to certain people because they have a good reputation and people trust them to do good work. This isn’t Pimp my Ride or some stupid, fake show.
Yeah, it's actually becoming unwatchable! I hang around because each episode is so short, and I can skip through it in less than a minute. I really do think this is just a joke, started out as a joke, and will end as a joke, or it will never end? Or, like you said, it's already done, and they're playing with us. I do think the later is true, they're playing with us, and this is actually a joke. Who builds a car this slow? NOBODY! It's become so stupid at this point I'm going to unsub soon! Cheers 👍✌😎🗽

Just go to the channel, and watch the first episode where the car is already like 2 years into the making, and go to three minutes thirty seconds In I think where Bodi says the name of the company. Anybody that ever called out Bodie's skill or eye on here can pound dirt. Brilliant with the custom applique's bit's. Take in the peripherals every so often as well hater's, some beautiful work going on there 👍
@@CommonSense823 Remember that Bodie had almost completed this as a gasoline build and then Tim wanted an EV at the time when this type conversion was trial and error. You all must not be too bored because you are still watching after 6 plus years!
@@brh4115 he hasn’t got the basic car done. The fenders aren’t finished. He still hasn’t figured out the trunk lid. There is no interior. He’s spent two months trying to mount a fucking rear view mirror. SIX YEARS.
You can sure tell the difference between the hot rod guys and the engineer guys. ReVolt did CAD drawings for everything, CNC machined stuff, etc. Bodie gets his trusty tape out, finds what looks about right, cuts with an angle grinder, bends by hand using a bench vice and his "armstrong" bender, then tacks it all together while uttering several "colorful metaphors." Both approaches have their time and place but the "eyeball fabrication" is a lot more fun to watch and is much more inspirational!
Some of the comments are priceless. A bunch of 🤡 acting like they have something invested in this project, and they are being soooo damaged personally because it isn't going fast enough for them. Bodie gets a good laugh and Tim is gathering material for his next stand up routine. 🤣
This is basically 50's era automotive technology meets 2024 electric car technology... Next week, Tim can farm out his car to Chip Foose who'll have it completed within a week...
On wiring a car like that I will run all the front lighting wires in a 3/8" stainless tube, heat shrink the ends and put plugs on both ends. That way you can use line clamps to hold it in place and it looks good and hidden inside the frame boxing plate.
The wheelbase should only be 112". Something must not be set-up right if it doesn't turn sharp enough. Probably has a Unisteer rack in the front if it is a straight axle. If Mustang II based then something isn't right. Shorter steering arms will make it turn quicker and sharper. Just make sure to keep the Ackerman angle right.
