Wow, thanks so much! I just fixed mine by taking it apart and putting it back together 🎉 I tried simply loosening the nut earlier, but maybe it needed to be a LOT looser. Or maybe the spring got stuck? One of my boys takes "dust baths" in the litter robot and really throws himself around in there 🤷
In the description you say, “If your foot is black (and the bolt is 1 5/8'' cm) : you need to screw for the bolt to just be a mm from the bolt.” What do you mean when you say the bolt should be a mm from the bolt? Do you mean we should screw the nut until it is 1mm from the end of the bolt?
For humanity sakes lets take care of this planet together and not depend on technology to save us but I am just a lone little voice but I know the heart of humanity is screaming for our hearts to connect not our aritficial creations to take its place.
My Litter Robot has a flashing blue light that nothing will stop. It started after the empty cycle has started and a loud pop or snap sound was heard. I took it apart and everything looks okay but the blue light keeps flashing when power restored to the unit. I don't think it's the cat sensor. Have you any ideas other than buying a new Litter Robot 4?
Buenas noches tengo un problema hace un tiempo con mi litter-robot y es que al vaciar el desecho y al volver no queda en la posición correcta queda virado un lado y no lo he podido posicionar de forma correcta es pero me puedan ayudar gracias
in the manual it says, that the robot does calibrate the weight each time when reset... so it does actually measure weight ? or is it a simple on-off switch, the sensor? because: as soon as the spring is compressed and the sensor gets contact it reacts.. for me it seems: there is no measuring of weight ????
Followed the directions exactly and my cat sensor is still going off? I’ve had nothing but issues with this litter robot over the last year and I’m at my wits end
Hi! For any kind of problem about the litter-robot, you can contact our support team at support@robotshop.com. Or, you look into our forum, we have discussions about troubleshooting that might help you: community.robotshop.com/forum/t/litter-robot-open-air-trouble-shooting-yellow-light-flashing/27456. Wishing you a wouderful day! :)
@RobotShopTV Why does it sometimes STOP in mid-cycle with a Yellow light on? The work-around is to turn off the back on with a Reset. Then turn back on again.
Hi! If I understand well, your asking about the mm that the bolt needs to be tight? It all depends on the length of the screw. It must be adjusted so that the cat sensor remains sensitive to cat detection. Pressing the top of the base backwards, or the top of the cap backwards (if the litter box is assembled), activates the cat sensor. You should hear a click and the metal plate should not come out of its cavity. There's a forum for LR3 on our community website, it can help as well. rb1.shop/42tZP3a
I'm with you. That instruction isn't clear, and I feel like a dummy cause no one is really asking this question. And the replies are just a repeat of the unclear instructions. They should say, tighten top nut if it detects cat when there is not, and loosen if it doesn't ever detect cat. Or visa versa. I guess I'll try one direction and see what happens.
If you are hoping for after sales support on your robot you need to lower your expectations. Bought a used robot and the manufacturer has no traceability on what software I needed to get it up and running. Maybe your luck will be better...
Hi! Yes, it is highly recommend to let the robot charge for 72 hours straight because it needs a reboot and it's the most optimal way to do it. Otherwise, the battery will not be fully reboot. Best,
The description on this video mixes up inches and mm until it’s utterly incomprehensible. If you’re thinking of buying as Litter Robot though… be prepared to spend half your life taking it apart and fixing/replacing components. They’re built and designed by hobbyists… to be used by hobbyists. Possible the most unreliable consumer device I’ve ever bought.
Hi, We are sorry to read about your experience with the Litter-Robot. Could you confirm if you've placed an order with RobotShop for that item? Regards,
Entirely untrue in my opinion. I have had my litter robot three for six years. I have had very very few issues. I have replaced the drawer, full indicator, and the cat sensor.
Wrong…. Nice try attempting to save face litter robot reps. I have two units and both don’t work now in less than 2 years. I have received email “suggestions” to fix that don’t work and waste my time. Thanks for the wasted $1000 on your poorly engineered poopbox
6 месяцев назад
My experience as well that they're incredibly badly engineered. The sensors are a bad joke and to maximize profits they saved cents on them, making end users face permanent issues. Three if the four sensors had to be shorted by me to keep the device working, the third one forced me to buy a replacement for probably 50 times production cost.
@ we have been scooping out two $500 robot litter boxes that don’t work for over a month now. Multiple correspondences with the company all to not be fixed. SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A COMPANY THAT CARES. I am open to suggestions, couldn’t possibly be worse than the litter robot
Hi, Thank you for your comment. There is a "trigger" at the start of the sequence which can be associated with a PS2 button. Note that the PS2 style controller is connected to the computer: it's either directly USB or via receiver to USB adapter. Hope this helps. Regards
@@RobotShopTV I'm very new to this, one last question, can I hook up the ps2 Bluetooth module straight to the SSC-32 controller? I don't need any extra sensors or anything like that I just want to control the servos. I am building the Lynxmotion Symmetric Quadruped Kit (FlowBotics Studio) with the stronger 133oz/in servos using the leg kit, servos, SSC-32 and ps2 Bluetooth from Robotshop.
@@SomethingFishy707 Hi again, Unfortunately the PS2 controller is not Bluetooth and requires the receiver which cannot be connected directly to the SSC-32U and must go through the computer. We're happy to help, so if you have any further questions, it's best to create a new post on the RobotShop Forum. community.robotshop.com/forum/c/lynxmotion/13 Regards,
HI! Yes, it can be shipped to Iceland. You have to order on the US website here: www.robotshop.com/products/litter-robot-4-automatic-self-cleaning-litter-box-white
I have had litter robots for 6 years. I used to recommend them. Due to the lack of customer service I have experienced in the last 6 weeks, I no longer recommend the produce. The last 2 times I called the waiting que was over 50 customers before me. When I emailed, it was several days before I received and answer and their reply was a repetition of the owners manual which I explained that I already followed. I even asked to buy a sensor and was told that it was not available on line. I had to call in. Back to the 50 person que.
Hi Steve, We are sorry to read about this situation. Have you placed your order with RobotShop? Have you contacted Whisker directly? We do not see any interaction with RobotShop under the name Steve Haren. Thank you
The Robot Shop was kind enough to reach out and helped me solve the service problem I was having with the Whiskers Customer service. I now buy parts from Robot Shop. They are very helpful and ship quickly so I can get my cats' box back in working order. THANKS ROBOT SHOP !!!!!!
Actually not as bad as the comments make it out to be. Just stuff a wad of toilet paper on the foot piece, just enough to hold the screw in place so that the nut can be screwed on. After the nut is attached it doesn't matter, it's locked in, now just tighten it.
Mine will work for maybe a day then stop. Each time, i pull it apart and back the nut off, seeing if that will work. Brand new cat detector sensor and brand new Pinch detectors. Its doing my head in.
Hi, It is a specific component under the robot. See the video at 43 seconds, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wLwgz3hWgMg.html Hope this helps!
Hi, Thank you for your comment. According to the manufacturer's description, you can drive the Axidraw directly within Inkscape, using the AxiDraw extension. The alternative drive software: RoboPaint. We invite you to have a look at the Specifications section to learn more: www.robotshop.com/products/axidraw-v3-a3-personal-writing-drawing-robot Regards,
@@RobotShopTV OMG can’t wait. Would it be early February or “sometime” in February. Also what store will I be able to buy it from. Thank you. Long term fan of your products.
@@AR21 It is "sometime" in February, no official date confirmed yet. We will announce it on our homepage once they become available and via our Newsletter. Feel free to visit us here: uk.robotshop.com/ And to subscribe to our newsletter here: uk.robotshop.com/pages/newsletter Regards,
I believe that the two screens below the drive wheel are not located in the same location as in your video for my V12 version of the Neato. I cannot get the top cover off because I believe the same two screws in your video are located in a different location on my V12 version. I cannot get at the two screws because there is large enough piece of plastic covering/right above the screws with a very small space in between. Any thoughts or help would be appricated. Thanks
