Wow, Flaine looks incredible! Definitely going top of my list of places to go skiing, don't think I'll be flying off ledges like that dude at the end though! Not sure my knees could handle that kind of air time these days!
Flaine is great, especially on days like in this video. I was lucky to spend a lot of time in the Grand Massif last winter and Flaine and Les Carroz have some exception skiing on powder days

Unfortunately not! I wanted to but the Brevent top black run was closed last season, and the runs down to the valley were never open due to lack of low elevation snow.

Good video. Gyro comparison and FOV ( Samsung at ultrawide lens) comparison side by side mounted on body harness . That would have helped more. No such video on RU-vid. Regards
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed. Runs 144, 170, and 180 were my favourites and are highly recommended! Zurs snow stays great throughout the day, but it's worth checking out all corners of the region.
Hoping to take my boy on it soon as he's now onto.a bigger bike. Usually you end up with people on E Bikes or extremely competent bikers behind whinging about kids on the course. Got to learn somewhere. 🤷♂️
the ultra has a 1/1.33 size CMOS and the gopro has 1/2.3 which is nearly half the diameter and perhaps only30% the size, so it focuses a lot less deep than the Ultra. That is why the ultra looks sharper, not necessarily post procesing... And, if you use an alternative camera like opencamera app, perhaps there's no postprocessing? also the Ultra will be a lot better in dark scenes. Cheers Canyon good review.
Great video. Thanks for putting this up. I used to race MTBs at Cannock Chase in the early 90s, and I’d love to go back there as a 40-something and have a go on this trail. 👍👍👍👍
i own both.. Gopro is great for what it's made for. Action. Best stabilization by far. Picture quality is good on both, depending wich lens you use on the S21.
Do you think this trail would be ok for a gravel bike? I’m fairly local to Cannock chase and haven’t done it yet, I do also have a mountain bike but was gonna lend that to my less experienced friend.
