Back around 2002 I was out fishing on the Fourth Debsconeag and met the owners of the property. Each cabin has its own unique design. If I could afford to purchase these I surely would . A few yeas after getting the tour of them the Chewonki ( probably not spelled right) organization purchased them.
Nice but more of a studio than a one bedroom. Has potential but I too would be worried about flooding and would want to raise it up and put a 6' wall under it with full insulation. It would be easy to spend 100k on this place but the lot is beautiful.
How much property is there with these homes?Would love to know looking for a nice place for a family retreat. Please comment back.I might be a buyer on this.Thank you for this video
A waist of my time and anyone else who clicks here. Not a single spoken or written word about the listed property. No info about which lake it's on, size of the lake, distance to a large grocery store, etc. I don't understand why you take the time to post this advertisement, but give not a single piece of information. Thumbs down for not recognizing that not everyone has hours and hours to stare ad meaningless realty ads. Have some respect for our time, as we would yours.
I moved to Macwahoc with my family in 1978. The population at that time was 126. According to the latest census there are 62 people today. The plantation has steadily declined in population since it was founded in the late 19th century. I don't wonder why. It's a depressing, dreary little place that doesn't even have a general store anymore. If you love living in the wilderness among drunken, uneducated bonobos, idiotic potheads who live in concrete foundations because they planned on building a house on it 20 years ago but never did because they've been perpetually stoned the entire 20 years, and alcoholic log truck drivers who do 85 mph drunk with a tippy, uneven load dragging on the pavement behind them, then Macwohoc is your paradise. If not, I would not recommend it.
Is this place still for sale please comment back and what goes with it the boats the docks stuffed to take care of the campPlease let me know comment back Thank you so much for this video
Seems quirkily deceptive in furniture arrangement. Couch against corner wall under a TV? Does that seem natural to many when they think of it? Yea, okay maybe to make living room look more spacious? Water stained wall in corner?
It’s sad that it’s way over priced. If it had been set at a reasonable price I would have applied . It would have to be much lower so that we could build on and add more house to it. Who pays $444,800 for a two bedroom? Not me that’s for sure and no basement and not insulated. We just sold a a frame cabin for $90,000 on the cape on the water.
