In a round about way you answered a question that I have been trying to find out for a while. I have edrums and ezdrummer. I wanted to be able to play my own grooves and export them to load in beat buddy - now I know I can do that

The "excuse" for a subscription-only model is ABSURD. Let me know when there's a perpetual license option available, if ever. 95% of the "drum mapping" work is already DONE for the next 10 years. "Ongoing development" in a plugin like this is a joke, IMHO. I'd happily pay 50 bucks for a perpetual license, without the inconvenience of having to log-in and connect to your server inside my DAW. Perpetual and offline, that's what we want. Someone's gonna crack it otherwise, sooner or later....

This is ridiculous. It's asking for a year subscription payment for just a map. I am fine with a one time payment but not a freaking subscription. Jeez..Be more generous man.
I think you are getting something completely wrong :-) monthly subscription cancel it anytime for unlimited plugin version and unlimited of everything online. or a single usage code for a single action (1 conversion or 1 download). or a long term access key for plugin only use. inform and understand before you hate :-) love from germany! cheers!
Do you have to do each midi section at a time or can you do a full library. I have just got some Groove Monkey midi tracks and can’t use them with Ugritone currently.
Please help. Songster introduced new creating tab feature. I created a tab since i don't have guitar pro and exported it. The file is guitar pro, but I can't find a way to convert it to midi since theirs currently no export as midi feature on songster. Is there any way I can convert my guitar pro file to midi? Thank you in regards!
Would be neat if this could detect which pack I might have and normalizes them to one to be consistant. Otherwords, I am not sure which mapping I have for my current midi from years of random purchasing.
Any way to accommodate the different mappings for different Toontrack add on libraries? Or is there a way that I'm missing within SD3 to set the mapping to the same for each library?
when using our online converter the way would be to adjust the corresponding differences after loading two presets. but we are trying to add custom presets for some of the popular sdx expansions which would be "death & darkness" and "progressive foundry" any other suggesstions?

Is there a way to know how a ggd groove pack was initially mapped? I assumed the “get good drums groove player/midi pack format” but I don’t think that’s right because now I just have a few cymbals when converting to the “get good drums invasion” mapping (I’m trying to use a groove pack with the Invasion kit).
the "get good drums groove player/midi pack format" is correct but only if you want to drag/put the midi grooves directly on your invasion midi track. I assume you are you also using the ggd groove player inside invasion, right? if so there is no need for conversion at all. it will do the conversion process automatically.
Good afternoon Sir.. My name is michael loefstok.. and currently using Alesis SR-18 drum machine for my gigs, but i want to 'migrate' and use Beat Buddy as my main drum compuer.. Therefore I want to transfer the some Alesis SR18 beats ( approx 10) from the Alesis SR-18 to the beat buddy.. I looking for someone who can do this job against a fee.. Can you this job and if yes how much are charging for this?
hey michael! first you will have to know the note mapping of your alesis machine, e.g. kick = C1, snare = D1 and so on. do you already have this information? if so you should be able to do this yourself: go to midiremap.com and grab our pdf version for the beat buddy note mapping ("Download Drum Maps"). then instead of loading presets inside our online converter click the "Map Notes" tab. you will then have to manually choose the correct corresponding note from the pdf for all your alesis sr-18 notes. any further questions or if you really need us to do a custom job for this just write an email to mail@midiremap.com with the mentioned note info for the alesis. love form germany!
Nothing but gold... I hope this also works in Abelton ❤❤❤. Just a quick question will it have the option to re map it even from the drum module( i.e. Roland TD-15k sounds ) ? If this would work then life is not all the bad 😅😅😅😅

Excellent- I downloaded the Ugritone drum map from the midiremap site and using that I now have correct labels on the kit to use in Cubase. Thanks for pointing me in this direction!

I get how you feel like though we have to say that there simply is not a real standard (GM standard is outdated) and competitors working together to make their customers lifes easier is simply not a thing that will ever happen :-) further there is no good or bad way for a mapping, it's a matter of taste like guitar string gauge. love from germany

After some trial and much error, I discovered the Addictive drums recording was converted to GM using that mapping. So when I tried applying this, even after changing the Benny Grebb settings to GM, it just won't work. So I guess my main beef now is any old recording I was hoping to use now has to just be re recorded that used GM. Not sure when manufactures are NOT just using GM mapping more? But anyway, thank you! @@mkaudiostuff

hi john! we don't hate pro tools, it simply is hard/complicated for small plugin developers to get into their game: we have an awesome vst version of our plugin which can be used inside pro tools using tools like "blue cat" which allow you to load vsts inside pro tools. we have a tutorial scheduled made by a pro tools user who easily got MidiRemap to work in pro tools. it simply is not our priority right now! absolutely nothing wrong with using pro tools, just hard for devs to create that extra AAX versions and pay money to avid for this :-) love from germany!
hey leon! do you know which internal mapping those synths use? our first guess would be "GM" (General MIDI Standard). If so you could convert any drum loop from the original library/vendor to the GM mapping and then load those midi files onto your machines! cheers!
That’s interesting! Could you create something similar for converting Guitar Pro files into instrument midi (e.g. a bass line out of a gpx-file to use with ezbass, NI scarbee, iK Multimedia Modo Bass, etc., or even a Guitar Pro guitar track for use with Guitar AUs/VSTis (NI Session Guitarist, AmpleSound, Impac Soundworks etc.). You can actually export from Guitar Pro to MIDI and then use those but it’s not at all convenient and most of the time you need to adjust the Midi afterwards manually. I guess it’s pretty similar to the use case with drums. That would be cool. Thanks and Cheers

hey there: the steps to use the plugin inside ableton are shown in this video, did you follow them and still cannot see the plugin in your vsts? further to which mapping does ableton convert the audio? maybe "GM"?
this plugin wants 3 euro membership plan otherwise it doesnt lets converted drums play.. Bullshit , why to pay 3 euro every month ? Why not buy for lifetime with onetime payment ? I will delete the plugin and i gonna find another usefull solution. I will never give u my cc information
