my biggest tip is to take classes that you are genuinely interested in like for example I am someone who is really into like psychology and philosophy I took HL literature psychology and visual arts and all three was easier than AI SL math which is considered to be one of the easiest ib classes because I was interested in what I was learning and it didn't feel like I was wasting all of my time on something that will only matter in the next 2 years of my life and I think that flexibility to take classes that you are interested in almost makes up for the workload also one huge misconception about ib is that the material and the classes are harder than they really are when in reality the biggest challenge is the amount of self studying you will have to do for your essays papers and ofc EE also know as my worse nightmare and even the summer brake gets consumed by it
