Hey Miya Respiratory student here, no offense at all but just a little advice. Try to make sure your doing 10 breaths in between each puff. So if she’s taking 2 puffs it should be 1 puff then 10 breaths then the next puff and 10 more breaths. Also, try to get her to take in deeper breaths with a short breath hold About 10 seconds) after each puff is given. That just allows the medicine to be deposited deeper into the lungs and will open her airways more. Doctors and nurses will tell you that its no big deal, but according to the NBRC, its highly recommended and effective.
