Wish I would have seen this earlier! Can't wait for next year! How much of a risk are shark btw? I remember the shark attack on the diver in Darling Harbour many years ago
Thanks for the review. How does the new XT S compare to the old XT in terms of speed mainly but also stability? And how does speed compare to the Bluefin S? - there was previously not much difference in speed between the Bluefin S and the XT - but with the changes is the XT S now any faster? (which in theory it should be compared to the Bluefin S given the XT S is more of an intermediate boat). thank you!
Hi Tom! I recently bought a Fenn XTS. And I had a 2005 XT before. Big differences between each model. Also, I used a Bluefin for over a year. The XTS is more stable than the old XT, but less so than the Bluefin. Speed wise, both XTs I found to be faster than the Bluefin, particularly in flat and upwind. Downwind, it all depends on the paddler's ability, but my GPS readings give the edge in downwind speed to the XTS. Feel free to ask if you want more info. 😊
I just bought a Surge. Compared to a Swordfish or Epic V10 it’s really tippy but super fast. Terrible beginner ski but I’m not regretting it. Because it’s quite narrow it’s also harder to remount. I got the full carbon which is especially easy to get in and out of the water and onto the car etc.
Cute! I would imagine this will encourage lots of people to get out on the water to try one of the many ways to enjoy paddling! Too bad Wisconsin is so far from Australia:)
