Hello. Great video and if I lived in the ATL I would for sure be making an appointment. On the passenger side I have changed the 2 sensors and magnets. Seeing your video for the first time I need to check for the circles. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to see the numbers to find 305. Are the numbers and the line you’re speaking of at the bottom or top? For the life of me I cannot see them. It’s a 2010 e350 4Matic. I had the p0016 and P0017. After changing the sensors and magnets only the P0016 went away. Also, does the drivers side need to be changed too? Thanks so much for reading this.
I highly reccomend to STAY AWAY FROM ALL MERCEDES BENZ. German technology is not what you think. You will be out of thousands of dollars more than once fixing a Mercedes. 😢
@@user-ju8rr9rf1o somewhat right, preventive maintenance goes a long way on Mercedes-Benz, those are expensive cars to maintain, but don’t forget they offer a much higher quality of driving experience, They’re very expensive to maintain, but if you do maintain according to manufacture recommendations, you will save a lot of money on repairs.
@MercedesBenzTechs I have 2 model benzes. And happily ,a independent Import specialist down the street. All I can say is save up 5 grand in the trunk if you own one.
I just wanted to clarify that the transfer case uses the same fluid as the transmission although they are separated. Also, you don’t need to remove that big nut on the part that connects to the rear driveshaft, it comes off along with the cover. Very good video man!
Hi even when you change the cam shaft sensor the connecter where it clicks on have to be replaced or clean before clicking it back on the sensor.the oil in the wire will run all the way up the harness and ruin the computer.
Hello my friend. We're you able to figure out the problem? My S550 key won't unlock the doors, i have a new starter battery and new aux battery. there are no electronics coming on. The starter battery is fully charged. Might you know what the problem is, and what the fix could be? I'm here in California or I'd come by your shop.
Just locked my car and left the ac on a job site. Had to walk away 100ft so I Manually locked the car from the inside and when I came back I couldn't get in. It's 103 degrees out, you just saved my ass!!
Call the office tomorrow at 770-837-3888 and make an appointment so we can look at it, Do you need only timing chain or you need the camshaft brackets as well?, how many miles on the car? What are the symptoms that you decided that you need a timing chain?
@@MercedesBenzTechs It is a Mercedes Benz model C 250 from 2012 with 110,000 miles, the reason for changing the chain kit. It's just that the camshaft brackets are ringing so much that I want to make everything complete.
@@josejohancamargo8573 to change the camshaft actuators, timing chain, thermostats, coolant flush, timing chain tensioner, all sensors associated with the job you are looking at about $4,800

So my main issue it has to do with the seat cushion how do I have what do I have to be careful with it I mean people are going to be sitting on top of that thing all the time what does it matter if I'm careful with it when I put it back in shouldn't be sturdy enough to hold it together is it going to be getting used quite quite often so all I have to do to get that SRS light off is to jiggle or clean out that that fuse maybe the seat isn't ruined but it's not the cushion itself maybe it's just you know the wire is is kind of Wiggly or whatever and it's not always necessary to redo the wire
I have 2009 C350 and it leaks right there under the divers side wiper and the fuse box gets wet cause its right underneath, what a horrible design, i dont have a clog there is a hole there that water gets into
Thanks for sharing your S550 diagnostic expertise! You may have mentioned it in other videos but a component frequently overlooked is the prefuse box. Most folks are aware of the fuses (150, 200, and the big 400) within this area but they’re not tracking the replaceable relay in this unit. One would have to use their tools and tricks of the trade to rule out the culprit but I would check here if a borrowed ECM doesn’t initiate crank. Thanks again for the extended commentary also! It helps educating the community so they can expand upon what’s being taught to them as they encounter similar situations on other Benz vehicles in the future. SRS malfunction was on and my 2009 mercedes C350 wouldnt even start, the repair guy said on the phone that car should start w that code so they made me think something else was the problem, well when all said and done all i needed 2 do was change the battery and the srs went away and car starts and runs fine now

HELP ME!!!! I have a service now brake warning in RED...I'm not getting a crank or start. However, I see all the brake fluid is gone. Could this be the issue
From what you describing, I think you have the sensitive brake control system in your car. I would start with checking your batteries and alternator to see if that’s the reason the car doesn’t start as far as the service break now on the dish and no brake fluid in the reservoir, are you gonna have to look? Where is the fluid leaking from regardless? I think the systems are under 25 years warranty from Mercedes-Benz. Check it with your local dealer.
My friends clk 200 have issues now with starting, key position 3 and no response, car not starting. Dashboard lights on all in like usual, but engine is not working. Have fail codes P2001 and P2007. What's that ????😮
Great information! I did not get that info when I brought my used Mercedes and there was no manual with the car I knew the little key was inside the remote and was told it would unlock the truck and that didn't make much sense . I have had this 2011 C 300 for almost 4yrs.and never had to Wonder how to get in my car til this week when the battery went down. Some one sent the web site to me to read and then I tried that little key and again cause that was what I had done but it would not go into the key hole but when I vied the info I looked at the key and it had some rust on it so I put some 3/1 oil on it and it worked. I only had to get the battery charged. Thanks for the online info.which gave me enough knowledge to try that key again .
2014 gl550 owner here.... car is smoking a good bit(oil smell) and seems to be misfiring. Just had a injector bored out and replaced and the shop says it's going to smoke and needs to be driven but the oil spot in my driveway( baseball size) and my knowledge of cars says different I think the turbo or seals for turbo are bad on driver side turbo. Any ideas ?
I have a 2005 Mercedes . It runs fine but sometimes the dashboard, ac, radio won’t turn on when I start it up. But it drives. Once I drive around for a while and turn it off and back on everything works again.
