I really appreciate your video, I want to do a bunch of the trails in a smaller sailboat and I’m gonna be sailing in Blue Hill bay in late August. it would appear that if the weather is fair, I could do a lot of these crossings.
It’s the Maine Island Trail Association guidebook. It comes with a MITA membership (around $50). I drew the routes in myself, but it has good maps and information.
😅I think I’m your 1st like 😊 and what a nice wee film.. I also love kayak solo camping… well 95% of my kayaking is solo and here in Ireland on the river Shannon is amazing. Ps how did you get the music rights to your film?? Thanks
I will check your videos out! I would love a trip to Ireland to go sea kayaking! Or anywhere in Northern Europe. Answer to your question: All the music in my video was automatically scanned by RU-vid for Copyright pre upload and there were no copyright restrictions found. RU-vid actually included links in the description for each song for me, and I added the credits.
@@MadYakker your always welcome as any good kayaker is on one of my river shannon adventures! Up north here such of Lough key is beautiful! I’ve a film or 4 up there! Lots of reels too. Sunsets are amazing this far up north! Ah that’s good to know about RU-vid as every day a school day!
Great work on putting this video together, I enjoyed following your journey. You have impressed me since you were a kid and you still impress me with all you do!
Excellent 👌 👌 loved the end when you said you are no expert and just the way you do it lol ..far to many are on platform s to say this is how you have to do things
Great trip! I enjoy your videos very much. Very adventurous with good sound safeties! I'm not familiar with "camping food" like that chicken & rice bag but why not just bring home cooked meals which is going to be fresher and tasting better. That was funny with you just munching away on the spinach.
Sorry for responding so latex what do you usually bring for home cooked meals? I’d be afraid of having them spoil, esp in warmer conditions. I guess the camping food is just easy to make in a pinch as well.
With my PLB, VHF, and phone service, I wouldn’t consider flares absolutely critical. They would be an an added layer of safety., if all else fails. Something to consider for sure!
Nice I like it. As for solo - I do a lot of solo paddling too. It does have its place in the sport. I think if you plan and prepare for it, it can be rewarding. James
Love your adventures. That's amazing you brought ramen and tuna to make a meal at the island. Good call staying away from the ocean side with those large swells.
