@@Boreddad81Hey but don't get down on yourself about it! I say I'm old and dumb all the time too especially in a game populated mostly by people in their 20s, but I'm mostly kidding. Failure when it comes to this is a matter of how you set your expectations. In my book, you didn't fail because you tried. I've been posting to this channel for many years at this point and it wasn't until the last year or so that my stuff got any views at all, but it's the same for me as it ever was in that I'm happy with what I put out and I still have a ton of fun doing this. Sorry if I'm being overly sincere to a reply you didn't mean that deep, but us old guys gotta stick together so wouldn't feel right to me if I didn't put that out there lol
Don't trip! It's not just you. The overwhelming majority of the small amount of Ramparts out there are doing it wrong. Maybe those who are posting Rampart clips on RU-vid (and even then...) are good, but there is so much complexity and micromanagement it is really easy to fall into traps with how you think you should play with her that are pretty bad.
Guess IL give her more of a shot cause I do like my spitfire thank god we're getting OG apex my man this season has been a filler season and to push Audio and visuals more too come
@@Boreddad81 She's so much easier to use this season with the addition of remote pick up on walls and making Sheila operate more like Vantages sniper. It actually opened up a ton more freedom in her playstyle that I haven't really seen anyone talk about. I've been thinking about making a guide to the Season 22 Rampart, but I'm also afraid of it catching on and getting her nerfed lol. Yeah I've been loving this season, but a lot of that has to do with what they've done to Rampart. The new map has been great, but I'm ready for 23 for sure! Really excited to see how they're implementing this OG idea that's been rumored.
@@angelagriffin7563I was about to say this one doesn't make fun of you at any point, but then I remembered I included that bit where you went to the bathroom while we were in queue 😅
My favorite part is how completely uncalled for it was. She got double teamed with a minigun off of spawn with no armor and did absolutely nothing to deserve that 😅
Ok, i dunno how this got on my youtube recs...but im subscribing to this right from an intro!) Looks fresh and clean!) and ima huge batman fan btw XD Keep it up man!)
The algorithm blessed us both today brother! Thank you! lol Part of me was a little worried dropping in 6 seconds of footage from a 12 year old movie without any context might not go over well, but I'm happy if at least one person got the joke
Yes it does charge up when you use your ult! Unfortunately, you're still holding a rampage once all is said and done. The Sentinel does the same thing and I have an idea for a video based on that 👀
Well it's the only one that requires you to change how you're playing to make any use of it. It's almost never going to come in accidentally useful. It definitely helps to have Ballistic with the fast reloads and faster weapon out movement speed, but what works on any legend is dumping your mag before you peak so the 1s charge up starts and then peaking right as you finish reloading means you're opening every close range fight with an unreactable free Wattson fence + 20dmg. It's GGs from there. Oh and I almost forgot it is a pretty direct counter to the sword too. Never let go of your trigger and you'll stunlock them lol
Oh no doubt both these games we got easy lobbies. I think we also ran into Chaoticmuch in a 3 stack that same day, but those games had a less interesting story to tell than these ones. Selective editing my friend 😀
I think the increased q speed and slow duration will hopefully make a difference to some of the fights you had. Wattson fences are 3 second slows, while seer's are gonna be 2.5. It won't be make or break for most of those fights, but like the Catalyst for instance, probably wouldn't have made it to the other building and if she did somehow manage to, as you said she'd have been silenced too. So the fight finishes sooner! I think he's going to be less spammy/spammable but more of a pain to fight in his effective ranges if used well. I'm also kind of more inclined to play him after these changes than I was before them!
Oh that's a good point! 2.5 never sounds like much, but a Wattson stun feels like FOREVER. I doubt it'll have the input slow like a Wattson stun, but I think I under valued that aspect of the change. The part of his kit I was actually most bummed about during his last nerf was the delay on activating his passive. It slowed down how I play him so much it became way less fun so I'm pretty happy to see that part getting reverted. The tactical being so much easier to hit I think is going to make him a huge pain in the ass in a whole new way. I definitely feel validated about all this since yesterday I saw imperialHal saying, "You guys are stupid. This is a buff!"
I agree with all comments, however his ult is now only useful if you throw it out in the open where it will be easily destroyed is honestly really annoying
Yeah, it'll definitely anchor your positioning as a team now because you can't just huck it on the roof out of reach when pushing a building. It's definitely a nerf, but in every scenario that I used it in I would've gotten the same results putting it outside against a wall. It will force you to be a little bit more aware about it's placement, but I don't see it making a game changing difference.
Thank you! Fun fact: I use the clicking hand one a lot, but I moved it a little bit this time so it looked like it was giving that Loba on the zipline a light spanking 😂
