I had got a brand new one. When I push the button to start low. It works a few seconds then. Pops out. Why. ? How to fix it. I might just return it and find something else ?
Shes coming together. I know you can really see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Ive been watching this since the beginning and it has come a long ways. Every time i watch you pain thought i just want to reach through my phone and check you gun settings and compressor settings 😂. Slow and steady will work though, i juat remebwr back in the day just shooting it on there and getting mag coverage and flow. Im looking fir a 1968 GMC now like i had years ago to restore. Ill take a C10 but i would rather go back to the 1968 GMC like i did have.
@@bbay1977 thank you!! And we have got the gun running a lot better now after this video. Just me not knowing what to do but definitely closing in on the end!
❤Spray the paint is something that I didn't do at least the outside. Parts that I did paint. Sometimes it spayed nicely. Other days 🤷 Looking great 👍 👌
@@in-rust-we-trust2831 I have cars that are fast this is a crusier I’m okay being somewhat slow. Plus with a 3 speed trans and the rear end we ain’t fast.
What size compresson you running for sandblasting the frame, i need to sandblast my frame and have the same blaster but dont know what size compressor to get for it?
@@ol_skate_7023 so that was a 3.7 horsepower compressor. I recommend bigger. I just bought a 10hp one and I’ll be trying to blast again to see how much better it does.
Any area you are not happy with just sit back and wait. I have primed a car and then went back and fixed some body work. Tap it down, feather bondo out, whatever. Once ya paint it, it might bother you later on. Your doin a good job, its not easy, its a challenge. If ya go glossy with clear and dark color it will show way more than in primer. You can take a break from the body get it primed and work mechanicals. It is very satisfying driving a primered good running mostly restored truck. That way you can become more paticular later and you will be glad. I have gone both ways on it. My advice dont paint any area you can make better thats always gonna feel better. Have fun at the c10 nationals.
@@jacquelinechellis4036 we are definitely trying and I’ve tried to fix some areas off camera and some done come out great. For a first timer I feel pretty good
Hey Chris, Sorry to hear about the booth issue..Question, Why don't you just push the SS outside and put up a tarp in the middle and make a temp. spray booth? At least for the small stuff...
The light spray method works well on under side of fenders and rockers with final paint job. I always apply final primer/sealer with same gun and shoot the way i will final paint. Easy to get runs with full pattern in tight low areas. Need a full spray pattern for final paint large areas. I would practuce that with primer on hood and roof. Your getting close to a restored truck.
I got a 69 C10 given to me a few weeks ago! And its in a baddd rusty condition. I too am looking to learn how to restore everything. Body work, all that. I know a little bit about engines. Its got a straight 6, 250 in it. Its a little locked up at the moment so i got aome ATF in the cylinders trying to loosen it up so i can turn the crank manually. Still nothing though.
They make a scuff pad .kinda like the green dishwasher pads. But they are very aggressive and work amazing on the concave and conquers. I have found them on the tile shops. Different course pads. Keep up the great work 👍
Ha I’ve seen another video like this and yours and now I know why mine isn’t working right. My instructions make it seem like you fill up the tank and then turn off the tap. So here I am using the air in the portable tank and of course it loses pressure in no time and my media wasn’t coming out. Bloody Chinese instructions. Was thinking I had bought a lemon. Cheers
