Hello! We flew from London first thing on Jan 1st and landed in NYC that afternoon. We stayed until Jan 5th and the decorations were up the whole time! I had heard that they stay up until the 6th Jan, but I’ve also heard that it’s longer so I think it varies every year!

Thank you! Yes we both had to get a temporary Visa for the trip, but it lasts 2-3 years I think before you have to renew it! We did it through the US government website
If you mean in terms of my natural hair thickness then no! It definitely didn’t feel damaged or anything, it just feels strange going from having so much hair with the extensions to only your natural hair haha! The thickness of the extensions themselves definitely decreased over time though! I went to a lady on Instagram called @essexextensions x

Hey! I’m still currently using the same hair extensions as in this video so they’ve lasted a good 9 months! (Although they are noticeably thinner now because I’ve worn them for so long - but I’m pretty sure Beauty Works say that their extensions last between 9 months to a year). In terms of after care I wouldn’t suggest Beauty Works shampoo and conditioner! My hair never felt clean using it, so I switched to a brand called Pureology and it was so much better! I only ever experienced a couple of my tapes falling/slipping out (I think that’s because I got careless in the end with them haha) but if you’re careful and take the time to care for them properly they should last a long time! Xx
this advice isn’t right at all lol, pureology is good for your natural hair but isn’t good for the extensions that’s why you get beauty works after care kits. And it’s recommended to use beauty works products to keep the extensions healthy.. that’s why beccas extensions got thin after months of using them. I’ve had 22 inch tape ins for 9 month and they didn’t thin at all they stayed thick and healthy because of the beauty works products.. I’ve now just gotten 28 inch tape ins and I’ll keep using beauty works silver shampoo (since I have blonde hair) but please do not use pureology for your extensions it’ll thin them out over time and doesn’t maintain the health of them :)
@@isabel1561 pureology is amazing for your natural hair however is not good for tape in extensions! Also beauty work tape ins don’t last for 1 year. They last 8-9 months
NYC is such a beautiful place! I wish I can go there now. What travel bag do you usually use? have you tried a duffle bag? I recommend Nomad Lane's bento bag. It is such a quality bag!
It took a while to get used to, but after a couple of days it became fairly straightforward! We preferred it as it was sooo much cheaper than taxis or ubers!
The NYC is the best thing ever! Is better than driving in LA. Don't let the people scare you, I was never scared riding the train alone. You'll do a lot and save a lot if you make the train your number one mode of transportation in NYC.
Use Google Maps. 1. Use "Save location" for each place you want to visit. 2 . Enter Hotels in search or click on the hotels icon at the top to see which hotels are closest to the majority of the places you plan to visit. 3. Once you find a hotel that will work for you, then use the distance between two location function to see how long it will take to walk from the hotel to each destination. Also you can use the fare search feature in the uber app to get an estimate of how much it will cost to get from your hotel to each of your destination. Depending on your plans, you may be better off paying a little more for a hotel that is within a reasonable walking distance or a shorter car ride to most of the places you want to visit vs getting a cheap hotel and using taxis / uber every where. Plus you have to take into account unpredictable traffic can make getting to where you want to go take longer with taxis/ uber/lyft and surge pricing.

Ahh no way I’m so jealous!! It’s such a beautiful hotel we absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning at some point! I would say if you can try and get a sea view room as the views are incredible 🤩 and yes they have WiFi across the whole hotel! Xx
A great vlog, alot of info. We r working out what we need for Spain next month. I think we are going to order test to take with us, upload and email , seems to make more sense and a better price that way. We are not with Tui but found tests on Easyjet website. Not sure I could manage a quarantine so am happy double jabbed
Soooo basically just to clear this up for myself as I’m stressing. I’m vaccinated so I don’t need a test to leave. I need to fill a passenger locator form to get into Greece and take a rapid flow with me to get back. I need to fill out a passenger locator form to get back into England and show proof of negative test. Then complete day 2 and I am free. Man it’s stressful

I’m glad you found it useful! At the time we travelled Greece there was still a rule in place that if you travelled to an amber list country you had to isolate no matter your vaccination status! The only thing we didn’t have to do was take a negative test before flying to Greece as we were double jabbed :)
Thanks, just watched your video and this was exactly what I was looking for. Spent yesterday afternoon searching for airport procedures for covid as we travel to Majorca in 3 weeks.
