For several years I have been teaching Youth Sunday School or Early Morning Seminary in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS). I prepared these videos to help supplement what we covered in class.

I almost decided to use some bad LDS-themed pick up lines in that part of the video: "Is your name Virtue? Because you garnish my thoughts unceasingly" I just couldn't quite bring myself to voice that line when I recorded it! lol
Did anyone else notice how much the Earth shakes around Alma? When the angel stops him and the sons of Mosiah (Alma 36:7) and then when he and Amulek are saved from prison (Alma 36:27). The shaking earth seems to follow him around! (So it is all the more surprising that he preaches about small and simple things.

I have been pretty happy to NOT try to worry about getting pieces that might be historically accurate in large part because I want to avoid following into stereotypes that might not always be helpful.
