Hey everyone and welcome to my channel! You'll find an assortment of tutorials to help you create comic style work using Blender. For more up-to-date content, head on over to the CG-Cookie official RU-vid channel!
Hellow! If you buy a product from a link. Does it include how to export multiple objects as one FBX file? I'm wondering how to export multiple objects as a single FBX file in blender. If you let me know, you're saving me. Thank you😢
hI man, ive encountered a hassle workflow when working in blender with multiple layers and shot number and naming each file output nodes and its subpath more than 20 times each shot. its somewhat confusing. Coming from maya, transition ain that hard but theres something in maya that i wish can simulate in blender. for example,in maya , in render setting, i can name the output strings once and it will apply to all layers, folder and subfolder including subpath. for example, <RENDERLAYER>/SCENE01_SHOT24_<RENDERLAYER>_####.PNG which will create OCCLUSION/SCENE01_SHOT24_OCCLUSION_0001.PNG. A designated filename in designated folder which will follow the name of each layer. A system that only naming once and it will rename everything according to render layer given name. Is there a way i can apply the same to blender where i only have to concern the shot number while duplicationg the rest of the ondes name. Or , If you can imagine this, <filename>/ROBOT01/robot01_<renderlayer>/<filename>_robot01_<renderlayer>_####.PNG which will create SCENE_06_SHOT_666/robot01_COLOR/SCENE_06_SHOT_666_robot01_COLOR_0001.PNG Hope you can share some solutions for this matter. Renaming each nodes hundred times a day , a silly mistake do happens sometime especially when crunch time. THank YOu
Hello ! I just discovered your channel and I think it’s excellent (especially the NPR blender tutorials). I know this video is 8 months old, but I hope you’ll keep posting in the future! In the mean time I’m subscribing !
In the Adobe Animate program, there is the Symbol and Nested Symbol feature, which speeds up work very much, and I did not find anything similar to it in other programs. Is there a similar feature or ability in Grease pencil ?
Thank you for the tutorial! I thought I was doing something wrong, but it looks like the SVG export can just take a little bit. Thanks again, and thank you for being highly detailed :)
Great work bro, I have watched both of your building generator tutorials, previous tutorial was very simple than this, we can just separate the top floor and bottom floor by separate geometry node and swap the top and bottom floor objects, is this node not available in the older version? Also I think it's time to make a new building generator, geometry nodes has come a long way, I'm waiting for that, thank you for this tutorial, your videos deserves more views.
Hello Paul, thanks for your videos! Do you know if there is a way to render ONLY the freestyle render layer? So basically I don't need to render anything in my scene like shaders, volume, environment, etc. I just need the freestyle layer. Since my scene is complex and has a lot of details, I want to bypass/ignore the rendering of everything in my scene except the freestyle layer to speed up render time. I have a decent gpu, but I need to render a few minutes of animation in 4K. so Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!
yes. Assuming you have enabled Freestyle in your Render Properties, go to your View Layer properties, and under the Freestyle section, tick "As Render Pass". You can then isolate that in your render.
Very cool, but you didn't show us how to change file type for the 'file output' node. In my case it is different than the scene out properties file type.
Hello, do you know how to set up different colors in two different shapes of 3D objects? Let's say I have two different shapes of buildings, each with multiple color choices. How do I set them up in Modeler?
the modeler brings me to my knees in tears every time, glad i found this! I make models in blender but its so frustrating because i cant seem to get them into csp (i can use them, but i cant do the modeler and then upload to asset store which is irritating) so im hoping i can figure it out now!
Great video, subscribed, I'll need to rewatch this one a few times and will check out your other videos too, you have a good way explaining things for sure, just stared learning Grease pencil 2 weeks ago and I'm taking everything very slow, plus this is my first time trying digital art so everything is very brand new to me :)
The thumb nail thing is has a bug. My version has no thumb nail in the rego box until you set the image in materials panel or sketch panel. A small but confusing detail.
Thanks for your great update ! Is there any way to choose witch camera angle is taken for the SVG ? I just want to create a scg from the top view, and no perspective, is it possible ?
Paul I am so grateful! Really no one but you ever explained that to find a file like obj or fbx I had to go to CSP Modeler > Node and then "Add from File". I don't know how the rest of you guys managed to import stuff in modeler -- it gave me a headache for a very long time, because other than this way, (with me) Modeler did not recognize importable fbx or obj files in your Windows folders. THANKS A LOT!😃🙏🙏🙏
