I recently found out about the keyboard hobby in November 2023 and it reminds me of hobbies like lego building etc. The end result is where the keyboard hobby stands out as it is all about the Look, Feel and Sound of a keyboard and the customizations are limitless. Keyboards are a daily part of our lives and I have used gaming branded keyboards all my life, my first press of a lubed aftermarket switch made me look into the custom keyboard hobby almost instantly. I did not know I could improve the connection between me and the digital world any further but here we are. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I do :)
Hi thanks for watching! Choose the right switches, get thicker keycaps or thicker profile keycaps like MDA, use PC plate and ensure your board has force break mod and sufficient sound padding.
I reviewed the B75 for a retailer and was quite impressed so I got one of these after watching some review and this is simply a phenomenal keyboard for the price. The tactiles are amazing switches, very similar to Baby Kangaroos. Nice review, definitely becoming a Yunzii fan!
Should I get the Rainy 75 or the AL 75? Pretty confused which to get. Although in my country AL75 is approximately around 38 usd cheaper than the rainy 75. Hearing some quality control issues with this one on reddit. They both sound so good though.
What turned me off about the Rainy is that it came with an FR4 plate, it makes ALOT of switches sound slappy even the one it came with when typing normally not softly, which is contrary to the videos of it you see online, I had to use a super muted switch to get the thocky sound out of it while typing normally. The AL75 has a PC plate which is towards the thock profile and the various switches I tried with it sounded much better vs the rainy when I had time to play around with it. In terms of function Rainy has VIA the AL75 uses it's own software. I don't really care for VIA so personally my preference goes to AL75 especially due to the PC plate.
I personally got both the Rainy and this and between the two, I'm still preferring the Rainy. The sound is a cleaner clacky sound vs. the Yunzii which seems to be a little bit hollower in that effect. I haven't had too much time with the Yunzii, so I may see if my opinion changes over time but for now I actually went back to the Rainy
@@LettersEF i mean i can totally afford both but i have a razer deathadder v3 pro , razer blackshark v2 pro , i want to continue the streak with a blackwidow v4 75% but i'm also amazed with the yz75
@@imgood_1245 Hmm if that's the case the Blackwidow V4 will be the one to go for, aluminum top case and 8k polling rate while being hotswappable and sounding/feeling ok :)
Honestly, for clack try the salvation. I own it and it does not disappoint. It clacks so clean and full. Definitely worth a shot for those with a higher budget. We are talking about 310 USD. It also has an anodised bead plated brass weight. So good for clackiness. It clacks so hard that even though I have black inks in the fr4 original plate, the spacebar clacks are very clean and obvious. The alphas are also crisp. My point is that the salvation clacks with ANY switch and plate combo. Watch the videos about it and you will understand what I mean. Furthermore, I highly appreciate the aesthetic and lovely keyboard combos - nice vid.
