Theta's highest driver score is 165 and was done a while back, prior to speeding up his drive train. The team has focused more on programming and have had several recorded runs in the neighborhood of 185.
@wrathofmobius We have been looking at which tournaments to go to and didnt see the Colorado Championship up on robotevents. I see now it is on the 3rd of March, we will look at the poss. and I will let you know.
Nice job. You guys beat us in the finals of the Colorado Championship, and as I see from this video, your robot got even better. Congrats and good luck for Gateway! Team 974 (TBD)
@jjp - We had motor mount brackets inside the tube cage box. These brackets were used to hold the motor in place and the beveled gears in the corners. The tolerances needed to be just right for all to fit, but they were fabricated that way and they worked just great.
Nice! Thanks for this explanation, very informative and professional. The video your team posted during the Round Up season inspired the design we took to worlds, so it's really something to see how your design works. Good luck for this season!
@AKSoapy - We decided not to hang, but to concentrate on increasing our speed, which we did by the time VEX Worlds happened. @tennisdude1010-The max. height depends on how far behind the robot we go. The max. height while still scoring the tubes was approximately 20"
