Hi, That is great and a good video. I also have an old Tigershark Montego, at a remote homestead in Alaska. Really appreciate the "how too" video !!! Best Regards from Alaska.
Sweet! Those valve stem replacement kits are a rip off at like $40+ now a days. I used a brake spring hook tool that I already had (everyone complains the hooks in those kits are cheap and bend. The brake spring tool is heavy duty and inexpensive) but then I needed a way to get the new valve in. Your funnel idea worked great. $0.98 at Walmart a I used three hose clamps to be sure it didn't break and it went right in with a few taps of my rubber mallet. The only issue is using a socket won't hold onto the valve and mine fell inside the tire. I fished it out after a while but for next time I'm going to buy one of those long valve puller tools that are cheap and thread onto the valve.
