I would like to see a video on why heat pumps have issues heating when all temps and pressures are normal , but not heat from indoor evaporator head

You should make a troubleshooting hard copy publication for heat pumps and sell it, i would buy it without thinking twice

I have a problem, the roofing unit. I turn on cooling mode, cool work properly, then I turn on heat mode I reading my gauge , and I see 0 psi , compressor noise I shut off disconnect, i think problem it’s valve his stock ,maybei not right?

I bought a new LG window ac 110 volts 7000 btu , after installation when I turn the ac on and put on the heat mode it blow only warm air but not hot , please advise.

I have a trane that is pulling in to vacuum in AC mode. Works fine in heat. Changed indoor TXV and still doing it. Thinking it's the reversing valve

what if you dont have a gauge on the pump? can you calculate it using length of pipe and elevations at suction and discharge?

You need actual pump pressure to plot the curve.

Math error? Isn't the midpoint of a 4-20mA signal 12mA and 8mA (as presented). Determine Span (upper bound minus lower bound): 20 - 4 = 16 Midpoint of the range (half the span): 16 / 2 = 8 Determine Midpoint (add half the span to lower bound): 4 + 8 = 12 Or, average 20mA & 4mA and get 12mA Everything else is good.

Hi, my section line in the heat pump get hot., when it on cooling mode. It was working find the day before. How can fix it thus issue any tips.

Sir I have a question, if it is a closed loop like Chilled Water Piping. The system shows a suction and discharge pressure while it is running. If we want to know the pump head(in feet)do we have to subtract Suction from Discharge Pressure(in PSI) and multiply by 2.31, please clarify thanks

wht about the propeller size ? Does propeller diameter affect the airflows? Suppose I calculated on how much airflows (m³/s) is needed to cool down a certain system, for example a generator. Now how to select a fan out from it ? The rpm of the fan depends on the rotations of the rotor since it'll be installed on the rotor. How to calculate the proper size of the fan to make this schematic works ?

Hi, thanks for the useful training. For the purpose of my research, I am looking for an equation that I can calculate the air pressure drop due to the existence of heating/cooling coils inside the Air Handling Unit. May you please introduce me such an equation if you are aware of it?

Good info I have one for u I have a 9000 btu mini split in my bedroom just it's been in there about 2 yrs worked all through the summer I went to turn heat on the unit powers up but the blower or heat does not come on but everything every other mode works what do u think it could be the solenoid not sending power to the Head?

I got question for you! I am doing pump curves on new pumps most of the time and actual dead head pressure doesn't match with the given performance curve dead head(curve given by manufacturer)! I checked speed, and impeller size and new pump might not have worn seal or impeller. Is it possible to have air trapped in water system and it will give a wrong reading as air has low density!? its happening a lot! I am really confused and looking for solution to how to find if air in water system? or its something else causing problem! Please help me if you can. Thanks!

You're right, air would skew your readings, but that isn't the culprit if the system has a standing positive pressure and the pump isn't at the high point of the system (the air typically is at the high point/s in the system) Can you give an example suction / discharge readings and the pump data? Also, if the pump has a VFD on it, be sure it's running at 60 hertz.
