Not sure how you even pick up a guitar when your dad is Frank. Kudos to Dweezil for his dedication to Frank's music and making it live on in a live setting for the rest of us mortals. Not to mention his ability to play EVH etc. Bravo Dweezil!
Dweezil is a technically consummate guitarist - mad respect for his playing skills and relentless quest to honor his dad and others. But make no mistake: those he honors were more than mere guitar wizards, they were creative geniuses the likes of which Frank's son, like the rest of us, can only imagine and copy and subject to our humble worship.
After all these years, I understand the lyrics to this song. I can hear pain when Mr. King sings. Instead of just singing along to the notes of a song. Ironically, watching this is truly a "thrill".
