Sorry but you must be talking about a different Castle Rock. Because I actually live here and it's wonderful! Yes it's growing fast but many of your comments just aren't true. Traffic on the streets is rarely an issue. Going to restaurants, markets or places like Starbucks is also almost never an issue. The DMV (and all City departments) are amazing! Last renewal I literally walked in and was at the window in 5min without an appointment. The Cops and Fire Department here are extremely professional and actually treat citizens with respect. Sorry I just dont agree with you at all...
Non existent. I live in aurora where it’s extremely prevalent and am moving to parker to avoid the gangs. Its gonna be a while before that demographic gets there as they seem to be moving more northeast towards green valley ranch, commerce city and DIA. I live in aurora but work in parker mainly and it’s night and day when i merge onto 225 in terms of drivers, pedestrians, how clean the city is, i dont even have to lock my work truck when im working in Parker 😂
@@ButchersNailsEnjoyer Thanks for the feedback, it's terrible what has happened as the overall area is geographically beautiful but bad policies have brought so many issues. Glad you found an area that is safe.
I lived there for so many years. Left heartbroken but had to follow husband and a new job in another state. I lived in the best time when everything was quiet.
living in CR last 7 yrs and it’s a wonderful community. Safe beautiful views decent night life. Quick drive to the city or springs. Its isolation has kept it safe from all the crazy in the world and should continue to do so for the foreseeable future. If your think on moving to CO Castlerock is a booming town
Please, stop saying "medium" when you actually should be saying "median." The mean price is the average price, or the total of all the prices divided by the number of values. The median price is the middle number of the entire set of numbers in the dataset. Or, the number of values divided by 2 and then the value represented in that position. "Medium" has no meaning or place in this statistical discussion.
Label - Bedroom Community, detached from anything within 30 miles. Not sure if public transportation is there. HOA Cookie cutter community. If you have to ask price, then you can't afford Castle Rock.
I would love to reach out to you I'm moving to Denver in a year and would like to speak with you about maybe apartments that maybe you can connect me to or even to have a friend that's familiar with colorado. My girlfriend and I are moving there in a year I'd love to reach out to you
I was looking in SE Aurora/East Centennial area and found so much more value down in Castle Rock. Both are about 30 minutes from downtown Denver so not sure why the prices in SE Aurora were 30% higher.
Finally someone who understands the seasonal depression I get every summer here 😅 I can’t wait to move to Denver. I’m so sick of the heat here. It’s just unbearable.
That assessment of the weather here is not even close to attached to reality…it absolutely in no way “rains and is cloudy a lot here”. That’s a silly thing to tell people about Denver/Colorado.
CO has the worst drivers. I live in Littleton and every day there is an accident or people driving through red lights. I agree about the Pinery being a great place, we’ve been looking for old growth trees
So you didn't plan on a large city being crowded ... right. Ha weather other than mid winter is very nice here - not a con. Oh please Colorado vs. Florida or California natural disasters - not a con. Cost of living for Denver is you're only legitimate con here.
I live in Denver. Denver is *way* overbuilding apartment complexes. I mean, like you would not believe. Denver infrastructure is already inadequate. During our frequent drought years, we already have water restrictions. Our traffic is already horrible beyond belief. It is going to get *much* worse. Crime is sky-rocketing. The police budget has just been cut by $8 million so they can afford to keep flooding the city migrants.
I agree about the overbuilding. There will come a point in time where there are TONS more apartments than residents. We were short on apartments so a few investors decided to build. Now everywhere you look a new building is springing up. And it seems they are all really expensive ones. Glad I bought a house decades ago.
Great video! Parker looks beautiful. Thanks I have a son that just moved to parker. I live in Nw Arkansas so have not visited yet. He loves it and your video gave me a glimpse of what Parker is about. And hey I saw a albino born right next to my cabin shack in the woods of Arkansas it was pretty cool. Lots of people love seeing deer and not hunting them. Your not weird at all. They are beautiful creatures. ✌ 😅
As a native of Denver Co. It used to be a nice area, until you damn California people with your democratic beliefs moved in,now leave, was a red state now so blue it's terrible can't say enough about how terrible you outsiders have ruined the state
I grew up in Castle Rock, when I was a kid it was so much smaller. Now I go down there and it feels like it's gotten to big, I miss it being a small truckstop kinda town
