And play it again and again this man’s drumming is watching and listening to he has this arrangement down to precision and excitement more buddy please
As always your work is absolutely fabulous!!! I think told you before, I am pretty much "retired" from drumset playing now - because I'm an old guy and muscles aren't what they used to be. 🤷♀ But did you happen to see the 4 short videos I posted of me playing African rhythms on my Ludwig toms not too long ago? Here they are: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HIMZEdHsApQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BSCoHlDP1TU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jul0rIGWzRA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QtOE1Dde-Mk.html
As Lou Bellson said "you could line up twenty drummers and ask them to play exactly the same thing, but your eyes would still go to Gene Krupa! He had that showmanship!"
You need national exposure. I used to be an excellent drummer, but your way past excellent!!! You, today right now one of the great drummers in the world. People should be watching you!!❤❤
He's a Freak. Buddy never played the same thing exactly the same twice. I admire his effort, but so what? He is a carbon copy of a dead drummer. I've been accused for years of being a Copy Cat........shit, I did my own thing, led a financially successful big band for 25 years starting in the Disco Era. I prefer watching my Idol who remains in my mind and countless others, The World's Greatest Drummer. Maybe he's the Jew from Brooklyn reincarnated, but he'll wind up broke like Buddy did with Frank Sinatra and Skitch Henderson paying his hospital bills. He came to the states to see Kenny Loomer and Wayne Henderson but not me. Hmmmm. I don't see him or many others preserving an American Art Form. Today's Pop Music SUCKS and so do the countless RU-vid drumming experts. I don't care what anyone else thinks. I earned the respect of my idols.
Being a Gene Krupa fan from when I was kid and tis solo being one of my favorites which I have on video, You nailed it. Great performance. I really enjoyed you watching you executing Gene's moves.
Having just discovered your simply marvelous performances--technically and musically--I sincerely hope you have other live musicians to play with. It would be a great shame if your talent, enjoyment, and obviously many, many hard years of dedicated practice were confined to a RU-vid audience. You deserve to be out on a stage making music that swings.
