what a find... what is this elegant and very cool little kart doing among all these poor cars with bodies and interiors degraded by the combined action of salt and heat? you have to find 4 wheels and get this vehicle out of this embarrassing situation.
Wow. It's actually a 1969. Maybe titled '70, but the grill and those side marker lights are definitely '69. (check the makers' plate inside the drivers door jamb.)The big dollar thing there is going to be the tail light lenses. '69 only in USA. Engine is the 1438, nothing great there, although the distributer fits that engine size only. Also, rear end is that year specific as well, it's a torque tube. Enameled badgework can fetch a few bucks too. I'm gonna guess built late 1969, like November or so. arrived in USA in January and was titled as a 1970.
That one looks identical to my W123. God I hope mine never wind up in one of those places. I don't know why people like throwing off these cars. Just because they don't have technology doesn't make them useless. Bro if you can rescue that car DO IT. U WON'T REGRET.
hello fiat 124 spider in italy, a restored model like this one has a lot of value, it's a shame that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ja0UELriVQc.htmlsi=ldwJOH8jNzlwmEGx
Hey I've got a 1985 928 porshe looks identical to that one, no body flaws, runs great but the interior is shot. I'm looking to sell to the right buyer would you be interested
England @ one time was scouting.. The country looking for these cars.to purchase back & restore..I know this because my dad had interest in the midgets with metal bumpers price for parts you pay premium the small 1200 engine performance was excellent gas mileage but to restore rather costly
What a beautiful car it was! A 230 engine with six cylinders and one Stromberg carb... Too shame that no one want to restore or at least keep it out from junk yard.
All you needed to do to make it reliable was to take every electrical joint apart, clean and grease, reassemble. Couldn't be simpler. Driving an MG is a unique experience
There is such a thing as a car for free that is not worth the price...and you just found it. Many indicators lead to the wrong owner had this car. The top is not factory.. It is a Snug Top. Discontinued and there are no parts available such as seals.. except from Mac Gregor in Eastern Canada. The Snug Tops have little if any value unless they are cherry, and then worth maybe $200-500. Moss Landing my old stomping grounds. My 51 Merc and 39 Ford Coupe ended up there. My step father's mint 59 Pontiac Bonneville convertible ended up there a year after he sold it to our garbage man in Pacific Grove.
