John Brzenk has so many world titles and many great achievements that even a mutant like Denis wouldn't even come close to. Sure he was a monster and insanely strong during his prime, but John was just so much better at everything else, technique, explosiveness, endurance. Denis strength wise was better.

Buddy I've been in the armwrestling from past 15 years.. watched every zloty match when there was no ppv this list is not about current scenarios but the overall hook strength and these players iconic hook matches. And you may know more about armwrestling than me so please enlighten me with some armwrestling knowledge and give a constructive reply on why you oppose this list and what exact pullers you think shouldn't be on this list. I will give you all the reasons i can think of and all the matches with dates and venue due to which i think these pullers have best hook.
And also as it is s short I can only add few pullers in this list there are many great hook players for which I've to make a part 2 of this. But saying that someone dont know about armwrestling by watching this list is just hilarious many people agree with most of the players in this list the only thing people are saying that i should add more pullers but as I said it is a short so i can only add few of them and mostly those who are more famous
Just to give you an example just watch Farid's matches between 2005 and 2006 and review his cupping strength and hook technique and listen to the commentators of every match as everyone praises his hook. Also in 2006 PAC ultimate armwrestling check out the match between him and brzenk. At that time brzenk was very strong, if you have watched the match then you would've know that how difficult it was for brzenk to win against him in hook. Also check out the nemiroff match between farid and travis.. travis was able to open his wrist without the strap but in the strap the moment farid cups his wrist tavis just gave up.
This made me realize how Denis’ superiority was equal parts mental and physical. He already knew what his opponent would do beforehand and was prepared, never caught off guard. As funny as it sounds this is chess, not checkers. It’s a mental game.
Levan is strong no doubt but he has beaten armwrestlers lighter than him if he can cut down his weight then if he's unbeatable then only he can be considered on their level plus he has to be dominating for 25 years to be on level of John Brzenk in terms of reputation and he has to be an armwrestling icon for years just like Devon larratt. These two are simply goats. Levan is currently nowhere near them in terms of these aspects I've mentioned. But yes in terms of strength he is definitely number 1
