Thank you and yes indeed they are, saw quite lot of them while we were away. The one problem with them on the Cambrian coast is when we visited the Talyllyn we had to get on one back to Pwheli and it was really hot and unfortunately the air con wasn’t working so we were baking

nice but you mean 158826? as there is no 158926 lol. if you meant 153926 then 153s are not cleared to run on the cambrian line as they don't have ETCS signalling unlike the 158s

Thank you Jamie for your kind comments yes rather a lot of action in this one and the surprise appearance of the 37’s was amazing. The HST was also great! The DRS 57 dragging 390121 was really awesome it’s something I’ve only seen in pictures from Virgin trains days or video never with my own eyes, until now that is 😁

Many thanks as always Jamie, it was lovely to see the HST again only three weeks after I saw it pass through Hazel Grove, off to Stockport tomorrow to spot some more a good line up, there are the 50’a due through and a derby test train booked as a HST
Thanks mate, yeah they were really great the HST having its horn stuck open was awesome 😂. Never mind I’m sure you’ll manage to catch the HST again for sure. Hope you are enjoying Ireland.

I think it added it to the occasion, but I also thought it had got stuck, on one of the tones.you were chasing us down the Denton Branch ,I were on the CME about 10 mins earlier..

Thank you Jamie wasn’t particularly happy that it ran late but oh well, it was a nice tour but I can’t wait for the 24th when we have not one but two railtours at Stockport. More videos on the way from my holiday this year and then it’s just wait and see what comes next 😁.

Yes Joe,I know the spot well & I,ve not seen anything from it for a long time.I,ts a bit too straight and featureless but it might be back on the "agenda" now that you are on the spot so to speak.Did you receive the video I sent you regarding the Hague Bar blockade? Thank you Jamie I really do appreciate it, I was disappointed to miss the jolly whistler last week so I was determined to get this one this week, would have gone again tonight but it was easier to do so during the day.
