Car makers claiming their AT fluid is "lifetime" is such a bucket of horse apples. When the Toyota dealership basically refused to change my fluid when it hit 75,000 miles, I took it to Jiffy Lube. The tech showed me a sample of the old fluid vs. new. Glad I changed it. The car still drives great at over 80,000 miles. What do car makers care if your transmission goes out? If the warranty is out, it's not like you can take them to court.

I would have hit the like button but you omitted two very important steps. One is putting a little oil in the new oil filter and the other is rubbing a little bit of that oil on the rubber ring of the new oil filter. Inexcusable and negligent.
I Have A 09 TSX - 1st 2nd Gen . I Blew My Engine & Got the Japan Version of It So They Installed the K24A2 .. I Bought the Knock Sensor Under As A " 09 TSX " ... Does the Knock Sensor Fit the Same As the 1st Gen ?? Sorry If It Sounds.Confusing
I just bought a Corolla 2011 with 135.000 miles, and i want to change transmission fluid but I don't know if has it been changed before , is it a good idea cause i heard if its never been changed before transmission can start slipping.
Man never listen to dealers when it come to your fluids uns common sense and if black is black change it if motor oil is not clear change it if transmission fluids not pink change it simple car will last you longer and will drive smoothly....
Civic FK3 shares the same engine as RE9 CR-V, which came with an AWD transmission. N22A2 with a map and an uprated clutch outperforms the Type R variant. Diesel torque.
I just did my oil change, I run stage 1 trans. trans was done at 60k mark, now 82k, car sits from time to time.... had it for few years. I changed the oil and the oil looked pretty good, BUT nope, after changing it, the trans is even smoother! i dont even hear the trans shifting into first gear when coming to a stop like before and shifts are sooooo smooth. :) got 8qt of amazon - they had sale going oin $137 for 8qts of motul.
