my cook at my work place ,she was sold by her own aunt when she was 12-13 old in haryana . her husband died when she was pregnant her in-laws did her abortion and threw her out of home just because the man is no more . she went back her own home and she did love marriage her husband love her . but she cant conceive. her mother in law tortured her mentally and physically couple left home and staying away from family , no male member in her new in laws are against her except mother in law 🙄 because that old lady think that women who can't conceive is useless , she was made to do all house work but mother in law used to decide how much she should eat and she had to eat in same plate in which her husband ate. thanks to her husband who left home and now happily living . most of the places women are against other women . one day she told me that i tell my husband to remarry and can child with other women .but her husband always refuse .but stigma is bothering her that societytalk bad about childless couple. i made her understand now she is ok. ,😑
Please educate her, talk to her that it's not her fault at all and that she should not be blaming herself. And that she can go out to look for help, tell her about support groups. Tell her about women's rights. Thank you for sharing your experience 🙏🏻

Glad you’re discussing this. Despite it being a topic that is heartbreaking and painful to discuss it is very much needed. Talking about and forcing in the change is the only way in a system that has always let this thrive due to people being uncomfortable discussing it, thereby becoming enablers. No matter the amount of progress and advancements we talk of as mankind, there’s really none when basics like equality and safety cannot be accessed by another fellow human being.
