Wait, so Boomerang has commercials now? Because Comcast/xfinity always refused to offer Boomerang because it was commercial-free . . . but then again, that never stopped them from offering Noggin or Nicktoons back when they were commercial-free.

The only thing i found wierd is when they advertise secret squirrel they used the 90s one that use to be part of two stupid dogs show, not sure why but it had me thinking that version was coming on as well as two stupid dogs as that the one i grew up with

Thank you Techatax for making this video on my birthday. My cable provider stopped carrying Boomerang in May 2019 and I haven't seen it for 5 years. Now with METV Toons are Boomerang still showing the H-B cartoons on their channel ?
Ironically or not Screen Gems ( Columbia Pictures) distributed H-B shows until December 1966. While Screen Gems produced Bewitched for ABC. Dick York and Elizabeth Montgomery voiced their characters in a 1965 episode of The Flintstones ( "Samantha"). Also Jean Vander Ply who voiced Winsom (Winnie) Witch also voiced Wilma and Pebbles on The Flintstones. And H-B did the animation on the opening title sequence on Bewitched.
Originally back in mid 1960’s both Antom Ant 🐜 and Secret Squirrel 🐿️ were released by Hanna - Barbera Productions in association with Screen Gems Television (1965 - 1968) a Division of Columbia Pictures Industries which is now owned by Sony Pictures Television Entertainment studios
Hanna -Barbera was sold to Taft Broadcasting in December of 1966. Screen Gems ( Columbia Pictures) had an 18% share of the company until it was sold. Why Columbia Pictures didn't buy H-B I have no idea.
C'mon metv toons is like boomerang again I need something more nostalgic like we want Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon to become the greatest cartoons and live action shows to be remembered and relive the memories.
