The sheer size and complexity of this architecture is truly fascinating. This is a virtual reality where you can completely live in this world. This is the beginning of the Matrix universe of movies.
Bloody hell, I can't wait to play this game. Imagine you start off down in a town somewhere and can only see this place on the peak of an uttainable hill in the distance. As you progress, you gain the ability to fly or teleport yourself to this place and then all this architectural magnificence presents itself.
Because companies have to cater to buyers who may not have the best PCs. I wish there were 2 releases for every video game. I would pay extra for graphics like this in an MMO.
Imagine if video games got to the point of Striking Vipers (Black Mirror) and these were the graphics. People would stop eating, sleeping, working, having sex just to play ALL the time.
Clearly illustrates how problematic are cycled animations for things like flickering candles, lit torches and leaf movements in wind. After about 2-3 seconds you can see the cycle and it ruins believability.
Good detail. However exterior looks more like the architecture from a medieval cathedral than a castle or palace. Spires vs battlements etc. Interior is interesting.
