Late comment but my XT2 is missing ISO dial option in settings :( Do i need to update the software or is it just how it is? I'd like to use command dial to control ISO? Can someone help?
On the XT2 there isn’t an option to use the back dial for ISO. The XT3 has that option but not on the XT2. I will have to check for a new firmware update to see if they added that option.
did you figure it out? I have the same issue. are you atleast able to use front dial for ISO? I am having to rely on ISO wheel and it's very impractical
@@solomonliu7354 how do you set that up? I’ve been trying but unable to configure even the front wheel for ISO. My ISO knob on XT2 doesn’t have C (command) button either
Open menu and go to button/dial setting. Once you click that, go down to command dial setting. Set it to shutter speed controlling to the front(second option). Then go to the next page of button/dial setting and change iso dial setting to command rather than auto. Next, leave your iso dial on A. That should be it. If the front wheel just keeps changing the shutter speed, click it once and it should do the iso as well
All my voicemails were wiped out after did an update ??? I had voicemails since 2014 and my dad passed that I’m able to hear his voice again 😢 help please
Hello David, on my Xt2 with the 18 55 zoom lens I canno't change the aperture with the front/rear ring (I can only change the shutter speed). Does it works only with lenses without the aperture ring? Thank you.
Hi, I have two sets of these and the only issue i am facing with them is that the trigger does not work when it is not in line of sight with the transmitter. Eg. If you place the flash behind the subject to light up the background the trigger does not work even at 7 ft. The trigger has to be in line of sight with the trasmitter. Any comments would be appreciated.
Evening David.... Just put together my little home studio for initiating my voiceover journey as well and I’m using my iPad Air versus using my MacBook Pro. It’s very light as you mentioned versus carrying your computer around the noise reduction app that you mention is a great help I’m going to see if I can get this implemented on my tablet as well or anything similar if it doesn’t work, but this was a great help for me. Thank you.
Thanks, you're the only one who quickly demonstrated the simple process using an actual X-T2 screen in a way that viewers could see it. The other experts usually fumbled around like idiots on an X-T3 or some other camera using, never provided more than a split second glimpse of the screen, spread confusion, and accomplishing nothing after using a minimum of ten times the words.
Hey, I dropped mine and the door chipped. Now it won't stay closed. I have taped it closed but this is better, more accessible. I did try the rubberband first but not under all the shock-mount pieces so it didn't have enough pressure to stay closed. THANKS!!
Thanks for the video, explains the process very straight forward. When I do this process with mine, the both flash blue rapidly, then the receiver stops while the transmitters keeps blinking blue. I've power cycled a few times and restarted the process with same results. Have you seen this at all?
What worked for me was when that happened, I pushed the test button on the receiver and the blue blinking at the transmitter stopped. Flash worked once I did this. Hope this helped.
I got them both working now seemingly paired but unsure how lol. As I'm sure you already know there's a little bit of trial and error. The cool part however is that one paired, I can move them to different flashes. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks ! Saved me a tonne of money! This works for Fujifilm XT4 as well. I switched to Fuji from canon last year and I was still shooting on canon for my professional work. Recently I figured it’s way easier on Fuji, if only I could get my flashes working! Was almost about to give up thinking I’d need new flashes ! But turns out it was just electronic shutter !
Just hit subscribed. Wow- this was exactly what I needed. You have a nice way of walking viewers thru the steps in a wonderfully clear manner. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge on somewhat out dated cameras!
Hi Thank you for the tutorial. Neither my receiver or the transmitter has a latch to open the battery compartment. ??? I bought the flash Q triggers recently and the manual says BUILT IN re-chargeable battery. There are also no instructions on changing the battery.
after a year of mine not working!!! thank you. it was always a hassle if it's a night event. thank you so much. so for XA20 you go to shutter type - MS (mechanical shutter) then go to Sound & Flash ON
