The CCSA is the trade association promoting the commercial deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS). CCUS is an essential solution to reach net zero emissions and it plays a vital role in reducing emissions from industries such as steel, cement, chemicals and refining.
We work with members, governments and other organisations to ensure CCUS is developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to meet net zero goals and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations.
CCS is not a "mythology", this is a modern plan supported with more taxation. If there is any commercial project for CCUS these does not need any government support with billions dollars, the CCUS EOR if applied correctly are worth and are able to produce billions barrel oil and supporting the economy. Direct CO2 Capturing with technologies on ongoing development are a sink where more energy is consumed but this type of business is a gold mine for operators and government involved. Direct CO2 Capturing is only effective if more fruit trees will be planted.
