Hi, I want to dye or color 78a Urethan wheels without using RIT dye (cause it's not available in my country). I had used red edding for some accents but unfortunately it soaked into the urethane and turned to a neonlike hue that spread to other parts of the wheel and now looks terrible. Any suggestions? Another option would be to get rid of the edding but I fear any chemical substances may harm the urethane material. :/
hey.. the color doesn't stay long if you drive a lot. But that's also the case with the new roles. For a little eye candy, it's still really cool. The color has no influence on the running performance
Awesome video and really nice end product. The only thing I would do differently is taking the pivot cups out of the baseplates. You can use the kingpin from the other baseplate to pop them out pretty easy and it doesn’t do damage to the pivot cup. Again I love the video and the look you ended up with.
Übertrieben kann jede/r 😁 Go skate have fun :)
If the trucks are brand new, you can just spray paint them right away right? I Want to get ace trucks in black 7.75 but my skate shop only got silver ones. Also what spray paint should I use?
Will this work on transparent longboard wheels? I have this cruiser/longboard with really annoying transparent wheels with RGB LEDs inside and I hate them, will the paint go off when I ride on rough terrain?
Hello. it will not work. longboard wheels are usually made of very soft rubber and this causes the paint to peel off. you can try it but I would rather spend the money for the paint on new wheels.
bro i dun wanna be bad or wut ... just u have to change ur styles... and thumbnail skills idk how to do say but . u have to learn more and improve more to get more views.. i just want u to get more views so. yeah

Painting with spray cans Prepare the material for painting. In this case the axles, trucks. 1. pre-clean. Remove the coarse dirt, dirt, if present. 2. Grind. Or grind. Treat surfaces with sandpaper. Tip: The rule is, the finer the sandpaper, the smoother the surface after sanding. 3. clean material. Clean the surface properly! Dust and degrease. 4. masking. Mask off surfaces that are not to be coated with paint. 5. Varnishing, spraying. Paint the surface twice, the first layer of paint Let dry 10 to 20 minutes, then repeat. For a really good result, do not spray too much paint on one spot, otherwise the paint will run and there will be drips or runs. Tip: Make sure that the spray can is moved first and that the spray button is pressed during the movement. Perform flowing movements with the spray cans. 6. Allow parts, surface to dry for 24 hours. Ready. Have fun Mr.Tegni
Hey i've been looking into spray painting my trucks but i have a couple questions. Is it completely necessary to sand my trunks? They're default chrome and have no paint but am i supposed to still sand them? Also, do i need a primer, or can i get away with not using it?
It depends on how good you want the result to be. In principle, an adhesion grung is recommended, which is a kind of pre-layer So that the paint adheres better to the chrome surface. So degrease the trucks, sand them finely, apply a precoat, Let the primer dry, apply paint 2x and finish with 1x clear coat. If it's supposed to be cheap and you drive a lot, it's enough to sand the trucks once, degrease them, paint them twice, done.
