I'm skipping her too. I'm not a big fan of her design, like it doesn't match her character IMO, she looks like she's wearing lingerie, like a negligee, I have a similar issue with Yinlin tbh. I get fan service sells but I don't like when it feels like it doesn't match with the character's role in their story. And she feels clunky to me to play, compared to Jinhsi or Jiyan, they both feel very clear and everything in their kit goes into an easy to execute game plan that is effective while Changli feels like her kit is pulling her around weirdly, like the optimal way to play is kind of off to me. I don't hate her, I understand the appeal, just not for me.
this feels extremely nitpicky, especially the hold delay and flashiness. It's genuinely not bad at all, and she's the most flashy character in the game. Imo ofc. But, we gotta be extremely stingy out here with our precious Asterites haha so if you don't like her then that's cool. Me on the other hand, I absolutely love her she's so damn fun.
tbh I got her in 1 pull, I wasn't interested at all in her at the beginning but she's truly one of the most fun characters in the game atm, her attacks are really satisfying, the sound effecs and the visual effects it's what makes it for me, it just sounds so satisfying to play with her, she's also really strong and easy to use
Its rough out here skipping changli. People be simping so hard XD I think she looks super cool and fun but I really want Zhezhi so im holding onto my pulls :)
Your editing is too hilarious and man, the recap of everything was so good it actually makes sense - they should've included this kind of explanation in game!
Didn’t they say previously that everything has resonance? And TD’s feed on other TD’s so is that why we can consume echos? And is it also why Abby is so hungry because human food don’t have enough resonance? Idk I’m pretty lost. It doesn’t really have anything to do with wether she’s evil or not but Jue said she’s residing under our racer mark so maybe she isn’t an echo but a living TD? Lore is not my strong suite
From what I remember, Yangyang said that everything in the world in Wuthering Waves are made up of sound/frequencies and that each sound/frequency creates a reverberation/echo. With that said, I am not sure about what resonance is exactly just yet. I'm pretty sure resonance has something to do with how Resonators have their resonance abilities and Fortes (power) or how they get their powers by awakening but I'm not sure, I'm still reviewing this game's lore. So I can't confirm anything about Abby needing to eat things that have high resonance. As for a living TD, I don't know anything about that yet either, and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that Tacet Discords fight other Tacet Discords to absorb their frequencies and get a more stable physical body. Chixia also mentioned something about how Abby has a hard time maintaining their shape/physical body due to a lack of energy, as to what type of energy I'm not sure because there's resonance energy and remnant energy (pure frequency energy). Could those energies be the same? they very well could be the same thing, but idk 💀 Also, there's a difference between a Tacet Discord and an Echo, Tacet Discords are from chaotic energy produced by the Waveworn Phenomenon and Echos are produced by the reverberation that is left by killing a tacet discord after they disintegrate. You could probably think of like Tacet Discords are evil, you need to exorcise them to turn them into good spirits (echos), probably. 💀
Abby stands for Abraxas, so maybe there's gnostic influences in the lore as well. But I think it'll be a combination of everything from Chinese mythology to esoteric mythologies world-wide. But personally, it'll be quite boring if they're gonna mirror real-world myths like in Genshin. I hope they stick with the post-apocalyptic themes and apply tropes from such gebre more than fantasy. So far, despite being post-apocalyptic scifi, some of the lore especially the sentinels feels more akin to the fantasy genre. But we shall see, even Nier is a weird mix of scifi and fantasy.
Yeah but the money they want for the “chance to unlock characters is greed like no other. I played this a lot and walked away due to the greed. Like I’ll just pay for a game and have the content but I don’t want a game to cost me 1000 dollars just to have a few characters and skins.
Are u serious? U can literally get all upcoming S ranks due to the patch duration in the game. they either alternate S ranks with farmable S ranks or just A ranks which are also farmable ( or can be acquired through normal blue tickets). wdym 1000 dollars? are u even managing ur resources properly? did u even look at the future patch schedule to plan ur pulls? This game is literally one of the few F2P friendly gacha out there. the gacha for debut chars is literally 100% for 60 pulls and 80% for weapons in 30 pulls, u don't even need the 6 star weapons and 5 stars are just enough to clear most of the events (Unless u wanna be competitive on the leaderboard)
The goddess in the beginning might have something to do with Abby. May be its a safety measure so that rover doesn't directly absorb thronodian energy as it might corrupt him/her
Hey, guys! Didn't upload for awhile, I was having trouble with my mic, and had writer's block. I made this quick lore video because I really wanted to learn more about the lore in Wuthering Waves. Hopefully you guys liked it :)
Stupid fact: the update have gotten one month SLOWER. Between the first update and lastest (that is the time I have been playing I would consider myself experienced at the global server), they have slowed down by a month. Also most of the stuff you said about powercreep and combat are being worked on in the CN server, they have added a new Luna frame with a 6th element and a passive solely for mixing elements for teams, sub elements that act as second versions of the existing elements, at least as far as I am aware, you will be able to get one free S rank of your choosing, anniversary S ranks, A ranks are viable and more creative and the game looks a lot more fun. I will say the story part is valid tho you can go back and read all completed missions from the accounts stats but I don't think many people know about that. My concern is that at least for me, PGR is like the Dark Souls or Elden Ring of gacha games and commits too much to leaving you in the dark. For half of my time playing I had completely messed up banner pulling and character levelin, something I have been able for bounce back from. So my hope is that they redo the tutorial, give older charatcers timestop and sub elements. SO... TLDR: GLOBAL PLAYERS ARE CUCKED FOR A YEAR AND A MONTH NOW
I don't think you can blame the game for having a small community and you're comparing it to some of the biggest gotcha communities which if you're being honest genshins community sucks much worse than pgr’s and I feel like you don't understand how expensive voice acting is they aren't a multimillion dollar company like hoyo I don't disagree with the fact that the early story is bad but the later story is really good which if We're being honest so is genshins It really doesn't get good until Sumeru The power creep is a problem but because we're global we know about it one year in advance so we can prepare and the game is generous enough that you can get all the characters you want without spending money so the power creep is definitely there I just don't think it's that big of a problem And I was able to build characters pretty easily especially seeing how you don't have to deal with a system that randomizes how good a piece of equipment is you just get the six star memories put them on your character level them and you're done You're straight up wrong about five star weapons you get five star weapon materials by doing Co-op so you don't have to rely on the random draws and if you don't want to grind for five star weapons just don't they aren't that important to character builds You can play co-op by yourself just turn the difficulty down you still get five star weapon currency you can just do it by yourself Kill some easy to kill bosses simple as that although I do totally agree with you on the event part the events are pretty boring except for the boss fights I do agree that the skin should be available all the time but they have reruns and free skins the only skins that are paid for change the attack effects of the characters Although I disagree with you you made good points and I'm a fan of constructive criticism another thing though you said that you didn't enjoy the game until the Crimson weave patch but you have characters from earlier patches why were you playing the game if you didn't enjoy it I understand that the combat is good but if you didn't enjoy it you probably should have stopped playing it
Okay, yeah I agree I can't compare PGR's community to the big games I mentioned, the thing is they are the only communities that I am aware of lol. And yeah, I'm not blaming the game for the small community, I'm just mentioning how as a consumer there's not a lot content to consume that is PGR related, but I guess that's kinda expected from a gacha game when the content is expected to be consumed in short bursts/a week of content per patch. Also YOO, thx for letting me know I can actually do co-op on my own LMAO, I did not know that lol. And yeah I did mention in the video that you can get five stars from co-op/dismantling them, I misspoke at the start saying they can only obtained from pulls mb 😅
Also you mentioned, why I have earlier characters from some patches, most of them I got from free selectors, and why im still playing, I just enjoy doing PPC and Warzone, and I usually just do my dailies, I'm just used to doing them, a habit I picked up from genshin.
Been playing this for over 1.5 months and all the challenges so far have been time based. Pure DPS checks. The grind for getting new chars is pretty crazy too. If you are buying a monthly pass, which is the most efficient way of getting black cards it takes 20$ to earn enough to buy a new char. In the time it takes you to earn 2 chars, you could buy an entire game on Steam. The weeklies which are the main way of earning them in a free-to-play fashion are structured so you are always looking at the leaderboards even if they realistically don't matter at all to your game progression. It's a mechanic trying to pressure you into buying useless overpriced virtual assets. I wish they'd stuck to the pre-chapter 14 format of allowing you to bring your own team on missions but found a way to make integrate it into the story. In the later chapters the story gets much better - the Survival Lucem in particular deserves a Nobel prize in literature, but you have zero reason to ever upgrade your team since you never bring them with you again. Also, the newer chars are ridiculously OP relative to the opposition, which takes the fun out of the game. I am still enjoying this game, but I am not sure how long I am going to keep following it. I got into it since in the past I did a pure platinum run in Bayonetta and this game scratched the same itch, and I was craving cute robot waifus, but Kuro needs to up the gameplay, hopefully away from timed boss battles. The bosses themselves are amazing though. I like Stronghold where you are pitted against strong enemies and no timer, but it requires strong teams, while I have ~6 strong characters despite playing it daily for nearly two months...
I would but so many youtubers have already made videos that made tutorials. One good example is AlvinBlox. If I become popular enough I might make some tutorials haha
here is the game, but unfortunately I'm still working on the game's combat so it's not gonna look like the one in the video. You can still play my game's teaser though. However, I heard that the enemies in that teaser is hard, and you do get kicked out if you die. So if you are up to a challenge, you can go ahead and play it here: www.roblox.com/games/7705944056/Dominance
ah yeah, it was meant to be that way as it deals a lot of damage. However, ill take your recommendation into consideration later in the future once I release the arena, or open world and players give me enough feedback on it. Ty!
