Not only are these stalls so damn small that the horse can barely turn around in (i dont care that the horse is huge, if your horse is big, get them a bigger stall.) but it takes 5 f-ing seconds to learn that you walk on the left side of the horse, NEXT to the horse
The Amish work their horses into the ground, don't provide vet care or hoof care, treat them horribly. Commodity to them, apparently not one of God's creature deserving of care or respect. This is just a charade for tourists. They are not godly people at all. 🤬
Hopefully, the amish have begun to treat their horses better... They're notorious for neglecting their horses and filling their kill pens with good horses.
You can see King Buck in Berlin, Ohio in Holmes County. He is really big and there are many other horses and other animals there too. I have been there and love it. You can also go on a wagon ride or ride horses or ponies on. You can also feed animals and baby goats can be found around the barn. It is allowed to be pick up and is such a fun experience.
First amish horse I’ve seen that hasn’t had their tail chopped off by these cruel people. Most amish work their horses to death and if they manage to stay alive sell them to slaughter when they can’t work anymore. Very cruel people. If you don’t know, now you know.
So I guess once this horse "loses it's worth" by being damn near worked to death, they will be thrown away at an auction where they end up in the hands of a kill buyer who will then ship them to Canada or Mexico to be slaughtered. Unacceptable Amish. Just when I thought your way of life helped make you more in tune with common sense than us modern living people. Boy was I beyond wrong.
Not a Belgian draft horse but a Flemish draft horse, it's two different breed of Belgium. Caution, the Flemish horse is another breed, from South Africo whose ancestors are Friesian horse for a part.
Too bad these religious people don't honor their horses as they age! They send them to kill pens after the poor honorable beast gave them his entire life. Shame on these God fearing people.
Yh the Amish tray there animals worse than dogs ...look up how Belgiums they've half killed and then sent them to the kill pen .look up Big John ...there despicable people ..good Christians my ar#e😊
Shire stallions are basically the largest breed standing 17-19 hands followed by, Belgian draft, Suffolk Punch, Percheron and Clydesdales, does not get any better than this although occasionally a few of these breeds stand taller and weighs more.
It is known, that a lot of amish people let their horses work terrible hard and when getting old, these horses were neglected, they have to starve, they don't get enough food, they don't receive any respect for that they gave their whole life to help these middelaged amish community and the bible on their side with every step these people do. They let their religion hang out every second, but they forgot the Ten Commandments in the Book of Exodus, where is said that we humans have to treat animals with respect and care, especially those who work on our land. Shame on the Amish!
My Appaloosa and American Paint Horse mares, Kona and Tempest, are only 14.8 and 15.3 hands high. This Belgian would look like the literal Trojan Horse alongside them.
I dont like the way amish treat their horses. They are cruel with them.. they literally use them till they cant go anymore and then they just throw them away .. l would never buy anything from the amish !!!! That Belgian is gorgeous .. he wont be like that when they have worked him to death 😢😢😢
