Something I find remarkably consistent about the bond films... how beautiful the instrumental or orchestral versions of the main are. This one, and a View to a Kill for sure. But also You Only Live Twice just to name a few. Even though the bond songs are all different sounds and genres - some are more over produced than others. The stripped down orchestral versions always sound so nice. And they usually work well in the films themselves, played during a low key scene. I think they play this when Bond and Melina are riding on a sleigh together, very romantic.
All those years later...nobody does it better One of the most action-packed,most fun to watch,technically impressive and original Bond movies of all time. You know a movie's good,when the main complaint is a last-minute replacement villain to Blofeld. My introduction to the series and honestly-the best one for a Bond newbie and a diehard fan alike. Baby you're the best
I know I should just enjoy the music but I can't get my eyes off that proudly misspelled George Martin on the cover. Unless the composer really IS George Marvin. You know, the George Marvin famous for his work with Phil McCarthy and John Lipton. Huge in the sixties.
I know this won't happen but I'd love this track to accompany the opening scene of the next Bond film. No dialogue just a fast paced, action packed chase/fight for whoever the new James Bond is.
